673 has well over 50 men on layoff for 2 years now. Soon to have 5 more guys on layoff to make room for the transfers from Lasalle.

Becoming A Joke ??? How many times do you roll over, roll over ,sit , sit , paw, paw, before you realize that you have become the submissive one ?
 
We had a whitepaper agreement, and when Hoffa rolled us into the national We were told we would not lose any benefits that were considered better that the national. ENDATILING IS WHAT OUR CONTRACT CALLED FOR!!!! HOFFA LIED AGAIN !!
 
IMO, it all comes down to how all the guys that voted "yes" on the last concessions opened the door to YRC doing whatever they want. More to come, and you can betcha, it'll pass again, because of all the cowards that won't stand up for their jobs.
 
You make it sound like a great injustice was done. How a local union president ever had end-tail in place to begin with is a bummer. End-tailing isn't considered a benefit to everybody. Seniority shall prevail is what most teamsters want and was in the NMFA going back to at least when ABF bought Carolina..not to mention the Yellow-Roadway merge.

For those questioning the LaSalle, IL move to Montgomery - the guys coming have over 15yrs, should they just give that up and handover ALL the freight that they are bringing with? They have every right to dove-tail. Seniority is all we have left and is the basic principal of being a teamster.
