Holland | Q,A meeting

How much $$ could the company save if all upper management took that cut? They don't want that. Would it force their hand to do so if there was a no vote?
I'm betting it would.

When the question was asked to Scott Ware "how much are you kicking back"?, his reply was "None of your business"! So they want to keep their money and **** on the rest of us! All non union pay 10% they have to pay more into their insurance, but they only give back 10% and they only lost their vacation for 13 months! The word "equal sacrifice" is not in this one because they don't want it to be! Its about screwing Teamster only!

your right the old Holland is long gone and I know it's hard to believe but it's gone.they financialy ran us in the ground and will never dig out of it.I have given enough of my money and benefits the last 4 years and they could care less.they are worse off now than they were when we gave back the first time.

yes it is a bottom feeder company, sad to say but true. I wouldn't be surprised you will see flip-flops and turbins in the near future hear. the ltl teamster is gonna be a fart in the wind. the new drivers they are hiring bring back more freight daily (un-delivered) and not a word from management either! who gives a crap is the new attitude ! ups is hoffas and ken halls golden child in the transportation sector of the teamsters, we are doomed!

I would like to hear from anyone who was at the meeting in Appleton, where supposedly they told someone they better look for another job when he started giving them a hard time? I only heard about it second hand from another driver, I think it was a dock worker?

Wasnt there but Appleton had Rich Z for their meeting. He was there the day after he gave us ours in Milwaukee. Cocky little scumball.

Its the corporate way ..
The 750 alone is 39 mil! Welch got $250 thousand bonus in June and we are broke now, he also gets 150% of his pay if we file bankruptcy! If we are so broke, then why do all the people that screwed up this place get all their money and only give 10% back! Maybe if Scott Ware and Welch cared about this company they would say no to the bonuses and lower their pay to 15% instead of taking it from the people who actually make the difference and don't just think about it!

The regional manager in are area, along with are terminal manager told us there wages are froze they pay 69 on up for health insurance depending on which insurance plan they took and the only retirement they have is a 401k that only they put in to, no company match.

Can you post a link to that article?
He may be able to come up with some b.s. article, but the fact is that GM has not repaid the American tax payers.(Govt)

By the way.....YRCW has worked with several other so-called financial gurus since the concessions began. And how has that worked out so far?

Answer: We're back talking about more concessions.

Thats the same thing our TM told us. He answered more questions and was more honest then our union local BA.

I went to our union meeting this Saturday and the President of our local said that Hoffa refused to meet because he was pissed off about YRC trying to buy ABF during the last give back. He also recommended that we vote no.
Then we broke out after the meeting into another meeting only for YRC employees with our BA and he said we would be stupid to vote No. It's the same old message they are trying to get us to believe, even after all the give backs where are we going to find a job to still pay us what we are making and not pay a penny towards Health and Benefits. He said for those of us not happy to vote yes so the others who want to work can continue so and then we should use that time to look for another job while we still work.
He also said that if this doesn't pass the company will have no choice but to file Bankruptcy and the judge will throw out our contract and we will not get anything but barely a livable paycheck.
So the union is talking out of both sides of their mouths.
By the way if the company does file Bankruptcy it will be the end of YRC.

Sounds like your BA should work for the company.I

Take a self stick address label write no on it and wear it on your clothes at the terminals. This will show the company how many of us real teamsters are not taking any more of this garbage. If your TM comes to work and sees every teamster with that on his clothes, he will be calling his boss telling him houston we have a problem.
