This what I was told by the BA. It's a yes and you can thank the east for that.

I'm not sure I agree, first off nothing is a done deal until it's over. From what I see on here most of these posts come from the east and it doesn't look like you guys are in favor. Most of the yes people are quite I know that, but not that quite. Most yes people really believe will close with a no vote, I don't believe that either. When this fat lady does sing get the tally from your steward and post it, I'd love to see the truth.

The fact that the east votes yes would not surprise me.
After all, the Eastern Regional Freight Manager was trying to change no votes to yes at 135.

I hope this will motivate anyone who was planning on voting no, but didn't, to send in that ballot.

From what I've been told the Regional Managers are out in full fashion all over the country. Its only my opinion but I believe they are more worried about the outcome of this vote than any of recent. With that I think it could slide either way.

I wonder if management was told that if we reject this proposal they will have to have concessions themselves?
That could explain their motivation.

Post on the wall in driver's room at Indy stated that there was only 10,000 votes mailed in (as of this date) so far

If this passes all I have to say is you get what you voted for do not belly ache when your work is being outsourced while you are sitting home in the future and the such of other demands in the contract! What is sad is as followed? We as a whole peaked at$22.80 P/H in 2009 preconcessions, then it started putting us below$20ish P/H and we have climbed back to where we are. By the time if the company is still in business by the end around 2019/2020? We will still be short of this hourly wage of $22.80 in 2009 that was by around .25 P/H give or take but by then it is 2019/2020 Who knows what the future holds:sadwavey: Vote :452: Happy New Year!

Come on guys, fill out the ballot and send it in. Make your voice be heard and make this vote representative of what the union members actually want. Either way. But, I suggest NO !

Its just hard to believe with so much on the line that so many just sit on the sidelines.
Why would you want to work for a Unionized Carrier with the rights to disagree and cast a vote to help change things. If your not willing to vote you might as well work for any of the non union companies where you have no voice. (Vote it is your Voice)
Hopefully the No box will be marked.

BINGO! They were already givin the money they took from us plus our vacation time. If this passes, they will get more.

what kills me is the fact the company tries to compare us to a non. Since when do we compare ourselves to a non if we are industry leading the nons compare themselves to us. As far as the managers telling us to vote yes or don't vote at all sounds like a Labor Board charge to me.....

Too many never vote, doesn't matter what or who. Those who control the system count on that. Government, Companies, or Unions. This is YOUR lively hood. Vote, try to get others to vote. Try best to know the facts. Make a choice. Your, heart, convictions, situation, or beliefs. Be counted. For or Against. Right or wrong. Yes or No. Pass or Fail, low numbers either way just isn't right. Whatever happens, best wishes for you and your families, and stay safe out their on the road.

Not sure, however if the ballots dont get mailed back....it's an automatic yes. So
please stand together, be heard send the postage paid envelop back.

Only votes that are sent in get counted..There isn't a reason in the world that many are not voting.. This is your livelihood..

your local has ballots with return envelopes with your name on it, us NO voters may have changed our minds without even knowing! Dual ballots ought to be confirmed.

Unfortunately, YRC is NOT the industry leader rightnow, Not in service, not in market share, not in revenue, and certainly not in profit. The carriers that lead the industry in these categories are Non-Union. I worked for YRCW for over 20 years and finally got tired enough of waiting for the other shoe to drop that I called it a day and moved on. Let me add that inspite of teh rhetoric spewed on this board, Management (at loeast at the terminal level) very much shared in the sacrafice. Permanent wage cut, with no annual or merit increases, mandatory furlough days from Oct to Jan in 09-10, loss of vacation time, loss of profit sharing, pention capped, 401K matching lost, increased cost for health insurance....plus the added bonus of wondering everyday if it was your last.......Oh and getting to hear "be thankful you have a job" on a regular basis.

Some do not realize the extent of management concessions.

If you want to organize...

Seriously though, many are aware of the extent of management sacrifice. It is one of our shared miseries.
