R&L | Smoking in the office

According to my non smoking friends that work out of the Knoxville terminal, the smoking in the office has resumed, (In violation of state law)and is causing them to get sick.

I wonder if the managment in Knoxville will be surprised when my bud calls T.O.S.H.A..
 
Don't worry. I'm sure the Fedexitis will be coming with not smoking in the trucks.

Gee. How did we ever survive before all of these wondeful nanny state laws?

We are already prohibited from smoking in the trucks in Ohio, it is considered a workplace which is to be smoke free. Besides, when hauling Class 3 haz-mat you are not permitted to smoke when operating the vehicle anyway. How many follow that rule?

Not, smoking still goes on in our trucks, some can do it and you don't know, while others you can't touch the steering wheel and the smell sticks to you. At least let smokers share units with smokers.
 
Go to your Doctor and tell them about how the third hand smoke in the tractor makes you sick! Ask him for copies of his diagnosis.
Now go to work and show them that you are documenting there failure to follow the America's with Disabilities Act. "ADA"
There is No Comstitutional right to smoke!
