how stupid can he be to say we will close with a no vote, show pics of truck going over cliff and threaten bankruptcy? He couldn't have given our competition more ammunition to steal our freight, their sales forces have been out licking their chops. We lost almost half our daily pickups in 4 hours last night and more were cancelling this morning. If we don't close, there will be some major layoffs coming to a terminal near you. i'm low on seniority list and fully expect to be cut within next week and this from a busy terminal. fire him or better yet, push him out of a plane without his golden parachute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Welch getting fired, you wish. He has two titles now, he's digging in deep. But
the company is busy with his leadership.However the yes vote, or we will close
trick.....time will tell.

Call a Board Meeting and suggest it. Cast your stockholder's vote and see if it carries...
 
I really adored those trucks over the cliff posters.Since the vote is over.You think management would give me one if i asked?

He's no different than a car salesman trying to state his case so you will pay his price. His first duty, like it or not, is to the shareholders, not the grunts. That said, we called his bluff. Now go see the finance manager and come back with a better offer...
