Yellow | I tried to tell you guys the truth---

Hey Bubba Dog do you know what "reading comprehension" is????????? Look it up! Maybe the science fiction channel---channel 19 could put their brain power together and tell you. Everything I said is true! Buddy-January isn't finished yet. DO YOU REALLY WANT THEM TO FILE SO I CAN PROVE I WAS RIGHT? -------DO YOU? Want to know a few other things? The guy in UPPER MGT at YRCW my buddy talks to started his conversation after the vote to him with "WERE THROUGH -26000 jobs lost"
My conversation with the people I speak to started "Can you get a job at ABF?"
OK -How about this one? Does anyone want to share Welch's private e-mail about his hint at "PLAN B"? Well I read it and I promised I wouldn't post it or share it and I will not break my word. I totally support and understand a no vote if you are disgusted and tired of the horse ****. I don't support you voting no if you believe in the "grassy knoll" theory. WTF is with you guys I am not trying to argue with guys I am trying to tell you the truth.
one more thing here I may add about any of you that question Gordon Sweeton's intentions. You haven't heard much from him about this because he would not get on board with YRCW's plans for this extension. He was promised at the last MOU that they would not come back to the IBT again for further concessions. At that point Gordon was basically out the loop. He had his word to go on with the members and he was not going to break his word and look like a turncoat. Let me tell you something-- he is pissed off at this deal. I wish you could have heard the silence on the phone when talking to YRCW management when I mentioned I had talked to Gordon about the extension-they do not like him because he wouldn't support this. YRCW's response was---" What are you talking to Gordon Sweeton for?"
He is not who I speak with though at the IBT for these other issues you have with me.
If you guys can do better than Gordon Sweeton-----------GOOD LUCK.

The answer to getting a job at ABF is yes, my terminal needs 2- 3 city drivers we have ads for about 9 months no takers... The whole system is hiring. I seen posts on here saying who will hire someone in their 50s over a younger guy, we will they prefer experience over age along with no one wants to do this anymore....

tell what you do here ----BRO---- call the Exec. Dir. of NYS Benefits. Then ask him pal. THOSE ARE THE NUMBERS!.Then to further your IQ you can call the local at 118 and ask for the guy who just put ABF's 30 and out at 55 package together and wrote the language on it. And you can ask him. Once again though you idiots will be too lazy to pick up a phone.
Do you ******s realize that there are at least two funds that depend on 90% of their contributions from YRCW companies??????? What do you think will happen to them???
INSOLVENCY IN SHORT ORDER!
I don't need to call anybody, I already know that the figure into the pension fund is in the vicinity of $7/hr for me. You sure sound angry today. :crybaby:

Hey Bubba Dog do you know what "reading comprehension" is?????????Yes. Look it up! Maybe the science fiction channel---channel 19 could put their brain power together and tell you Ummm... Right. Everything I said is true! Buddy-January isn't finished yet. DO YOU REALLY WANT THEM TO FILE SO I CAN PROVE I WAS RIGHT? -------DO YOU?You already made the statement, so, I guess we will see?. Want to know a few other things? The guy in UPPER MGT at YRCW my buddy talks to started his conversation after the vote to him with "WERE THROUGH -26000 jobs lost" Was this the same guy who told you about the 7% ?

Superstar,
The thing I find most offensive about this thread, is that, you started an "I told you so" thread, and, nothing factual has happened yet?

Chicago is looking for city-drivers right now. Apply online. It's a rough beginning because of the utility work and the irregular hours and different terminals you will work out of but after a couple years you will have a steady bid regular hours. We actually have a driver getting a bid as a dayman in Des Plaines starting tomorrow and he has only been here around six months. Best of luck to all of your futures whatever you decide to do.

Listen sport.. RELAX.. Its wonderful that we have such amazing insight into the YRC thought process. Steve Gast (New Penn Pres) said straight out.. A no Vote will equal bankruptcy.. no if, ands, or buts.. I asked him if there was a no vote then how long would the bankruptcy begin.. He said.. and i quote.. "the day after the vote"..Hmmmmm I'm still waiting for that bell ringing..
Let me fill you in on what is happenning now.... Welch is sitting with the banks.. PLEADING for his job.. He is BEGGING them to not send him packing.. He is EXPLAINING how this "NO" vote was not even remotely expected and how he will get the next round of concessions past!!
.. Tell your buddy Jimmy Welch.. The F-ing scumbag that he is.. to give me a call.. here is my cell 867-5309.. tell him to ask for Jenny..Because I will explain to him that when he comes a knocking for the "Ok guys.. let's just keep status quo and extend the MOU till 2019.. Ballots are in the mail"..Bullsh*% I will let him know.. THAT once again... F^%$ "NOOOOOO"
You DIp Sh#@s have poked the BEAR,, and now we have YOUR FATE IN OUR HANDS!!!.. Tell Jim to suck it up.. stop taking money from the company..and go ... ohh I dunno .. F$#@ himself!!!
The FEB. payment will be made.. and all the other payments will also get paid.. The money is there because if it wasn't then you DOUCHEB@%S wouldn't have taken the bonus money and compensation packages that YOU had designed!!
You were unsuccessful in your plight to pin this company's future on the Teamsters..Please.. and I am begging.. Please.. TRY better.. LOSER!

Sorry if I pissed anyone off.Just so you know I voted yes on the givebacks too but when that last one came with the 25% pension deal I said Hell NO and walked away.

Hell no and walked away, but I cant stop reading and posting on the yrc boards to make sure the rest of you know my sad story.

Vote No !!

Doesn't the average teamster drop dead after collecting about a years worth of pension checks. But most will worry about it everyday for 10 years prior to retirement. Who told you you were going to be alive 10 years from now? Worrying about things you can't control, doesn't seem to smart to me. Slow down driver, take a break, enjoy the life you have today and be great full for the good things in it, cause they might not be here tomorrow.

Guess I must be above average, retired July 2012 ......still posting on Trucking Board . You have a valid point.:1036316054:

Superstar,, I know youve been asked this question already,, but I gotta ask it again... Arent you the same Superstar that told us that your sourec told you that we were gonna get 7% of our cash back?? you really are not to credible

I love how this company pays millions in analysts & advisors that obviously don't know jack! How about asking the true experts of handling & moving freight? Your own employees that pick up & deliver, the people that handle the freight on the docks, the drivers that get it up & down the roads! You'll pay a college educated so called expert millions for his input & follow his advice that his track record is garbage but your own experts, your employees that you are already paying that are more than willing to give input anytime you ask for it, you don't give a crap.

Was anyone talked to by the company that supposedly told YRC what kind of reductions we would deem acceptable?? I personally cant see how anyone can give away 2 years of raises, for qualified employees,, I cant see a dockworker or clerical giving away 5 years of raises,, and I sure cant see anyone giving away work!! The only thing that mightve flew and this is a big big maybe is the 2 teir for new dock employees,,, and I still cant see that passing
