Yes it could be get a hold of the manger who you interviewed with and tell him add it to your app/file. Better to fess up than them to catch you in lie (misspeak/memory lapse)

I second that, they will see everything and will hold it against you if you don't report it.

Forgot to add a Speeding Ticket

You "Will not" be hired if you forgot about it, unless they don't count a ticket some 20yrs. or so. I applied to Yellow about 5yrs. ago. I got a minor speeding ticket going 45 in a 35mph in my personal car running late for work at night. Well, when I applied for a job at Yellow, they got a report from my DAC record that I did get a ticket in the last 3yrs. prior to getting hired. I Too did not put it on my application, because I paid $50or so to do a on-line course on speeding to have it abated-taking off my record, so I thought why should I put it on my application when they at the DMV would take it off my record, well I find out later that if you have a CDL, it does not come off, they did not tell me that, after being ripped off. So Yellow sent me a letter saying that I was dishonest and Lied. I tryed to fight it, but they declined. I never forgot that. Well I am so glad that I was not hired, at the time I would have been laid off, and now 5yrs. later, I am with the top LTL company, with a stable future until I retire. It's funny how things happen for a reason. Good Luck, after 20yrs. for a ticket I do not see why they would not hire you, but if they don't, Things happen for a reason, GOOD LUCK working for a sinking ship. I would look elsewhere.

I mean, according to maritime law once it's sunk looting's legal.

If the speeding ticket you received is over 20 years old and paid, don’t worry about putting it down. Anyone who says ABF is going to let that stop them from hiring you is “pulling your chain.” Really, 20 yrs ago? LOL.

These guys will tell you they knew this guy or that girl who did not get hired because that person didn’t put something down that was only 10 or 15 yrs old but remember “they heard or they knew” someone. Those same people are the ones who consider buying the Brooklyn Bridge every time it comes up for resale.

If the App said last 10, he is ok..... If you fudge on anything, whether you mean to or not, they will dispose of your app.. Its an intelligence and honesty issue... Its easier to get government clearance than a job at ABF which is ridiculous.. My best friend tried to get on as a road driver at ABF, no tickets, No DWI, Doubles experience with competitor,, interviewed well, and was not hired... 3 months later was hired as a Sheriffs deputy...

Then they go and buy other companies who have already hired the people they previously refused to hire. :duh:

ABF’s hiring process was one of the most intense I have ever been through. I think about that sometimes and I wonder; does ABF do that for the physiological reasons? Like, as a way to intimidate new hires? Possibly to make sure individuals really want the job enough to fight for it? Maybe management just wants to prove they are the boss? Or to make employees feel they “owe” the company? Or others questions along that line.

The job is good as far as the work rules go but the pay is, at least on the road, comparable to what other LTL carriers pay. And even ABF upper management said that when asking us for concessions. Does anyone remember Roy Slagel having meeting in which he said ‘we are not wanting any pay concessions’ and ‘ABF pay scale is comparable with other LTL carriers?’ Does any of that sound familiar?

I agree with ABFer, ABF may be the last union LTL carrier because our pay is equal with the non-union companies.

If it were any other company I'd say you're fine...But ABF has some ridiculous hiring standards.
Tell us about it, they hire badslavin, GO40 and me and pass on everyone else!!!! :hysterical:
