Yellow | 2 man meeting on January 21 for new Contract proposal

Wow, they sure came up with a new proposal quicky!!!...I will always believe they had a "plan B" ready to go when they tried "plan A" on us!!!

so in other words a re modify to plan A is to be voted, yet we voted down the first one unless there is something in this one that they were hiding from us what makes any of us think voting for this one will be in our best interests. The company always wants us to give to them. what the hell are they giving us ? nothing short of ulcers and heart attacks

We'll have to wait and see just what they came up with but at least it sounds like it was a negotiated agreement.

Have you seen it? Do you know for a fact what it says?

nope, not a psychic. but one can assume that all of the wording that was used doing the first MOU which was voted down did not change to persuade members to vote Yes just saying.

my guess same MOU and hopefully with some improvement on pension over 5 years and the banks reduce there interest down from the proposed 8% range to more like 4-6 % interest that would save 100 million a year.
leased transportation sure if its USF or NEW Penn or YRC hauling it first =interlining if they cant then some other union carrier (standard forwarding etc) would be next and only option
give back are one week vacation even if unpaid and pay the health and welfare for the week
that may pass ......................................................... hell id forgive wage increase every year if that was to go into the pension every year plus additional 5 percent a year

will be interested to see they where playing mind gamse they new the current might not pass so threw worse mou to insure this one will pass

Thats right...and to think those yes voters just about threw ALL of us under the bus!....If this is a POS....then we will go to Plan C....KK

Trick or treat

Ah the ole company trick bag had the yes voters calling, emailing, twitter and facebook for a re-vote. Even had them singled out by management asking how they voted which they denied of course. Knowing well, they the management couldn't request a re-vote but lets get the yes men to do it for us. Anyways heard about the calls to drivers by management asking how they voted. Threatened them with a labor board charge and, guess what.....I got a bunch of grievances they were sitting on resolved just like that:clapping:. Gotta take advantage of the situation with fast thinking, thank you yes men I really appreciate you helping me think outside the box....

See. See what your 56 dollars a month gets you. Round the clock negotiations since last Thursday. Hope the Intl. guys gave us more than a 15 percent effort.

The letter our BA posted on our board says that the IBT and YRC were having ongoing discussions since last Thursday the 9th. Monday they came and asked us to contact the IBT because supposrdlly communications were cutoff. They didn't ask me to ask for a revote, just to urge them back to communications...........which according to the IBT there were already ongoing communications........why the company asked us to contact the IBT Is beyond me if they already were having communications.
I was asked to tell the IBT what I didn't like about the offer not to ask for a revote. A revote on the same thing would have been s waste of time IMO.

No yes voters were throwing anybody under the bus. You pushed hard for a yes the last time or 2 and we got another few years. If a no brings bankruptcy it is the company and banksters who did it. If a yes brings concessions some dislike it is the company and banksters who did that also.
