Plan a is plan b just now you vote at your local hall less votes better outcome..
so in other words a re modify to plan A is to be voted, yet we voted down the first one unless there is something in this one that they were hiding from us what makes any of us think voting for this one will be in our best interests. The company always wants us to give to them. what the hell are they giving us ? nothing short of ulcers and heart attacks
Wow, they sure came up with a new proposal quicky!!!...I will always believe they had a "plan B" ready to go when they tried "plan A" on us!!!
nope, not a psychic. but one can assume that all of the wording that was used doing the first MOU which was voted down did not change to persuade members to vote Yes just saying.
We'll have to wait and see just what they came up with but at least it sounds like it was a negotiated agreement.
The letter our BA posted on our board says that the IBT and YRC were having ongoing discussions since last Thursday the 9th. Monday they came and asked us to contact the IBT because supposrdlly communications were cutoff. They didn't ask me to ask for a revote, just to urge them back to communications...........which according to the IBT there were already ongoing communications........why the company asked us to contact the IBT Is beyond me if they already were having communications.Ah the ole company trick bag had the yes voters calling, emailing, twitter and facebook for a re-vote. Even had them singled out by management asking how they voted which they denied of course. Knowing well, they the management couldn't request a re-vote but lets get the yes men to do it for us. Anyways heard about the calls to drivers by management asking how they voted. Threatened them with a labor board charge and, guess what.....I got a bunch of grievances they were sitting on resolved just like that. Gotta take advantage of the situation with fast thinking, thank you yes men I really appreciate you helping me think outside the box....
Thats right...and to think those yes voters just about threw ALL of us under the bus!....If this is a POS....then we will go to Plan C....KK

I was asked to tell the IBT what I didn't like about the offer not to ask for a revote. A revote on the same thing would have been s waste of time IMO.
From a guy who knew the last round was a take it or close offer. No yes voters were throwing anybody under the bus. You pushed hard for a yes the last time or 2 and we got another few years. If a no brings bankruptcy it is the company and banksters who did it. If a yes brings concessions some dislike it is the company and banksters who did that also.
It's a new spin on 'Vote 'til you get it right'.Wow, they sure came up with a new proposal quicky!!!...I will always believe they had a "plan B" ready to go when they tried "plan A" on us!!!
