Yellow | union hall vote

Our haul is downtown Cleveland I run the open board and chances are I won't be home to get down there.Whats Rong with voting at the terminal it would make it much easier for everyone and I bet you would get 100 percent of the people to vote

at Holland we dont get to go out and come back home if your on the open board. We leave Sunday night and we might not get home untill next Sunday morning. So with that in mind many of us wont be home to go to the hall to vote. Why not let us cast our votes at the terminal before we have to leave and were hung out all week and cant get to the hall to vote?

I believe no voters would drive to a different state and even pay a toll to cast their vote. You might get some hard ass yes voter's to travel. The "on the fence" or "who cares" voters won't get off the couch. Having the voting at the terminal s will surely go yes.

My opinion

My destination bid runs across the weekend so I will not be off work to go to my local union office to vote. How is this fair?

A yes vote is automatic for the no shows if I'm not mistaken

PS ! and if the new proposal dosent includ getting the pencion going again so the young people have somthing to look forward to put me down for a NO if I am hung out and cant make it to the hall to vote.Im not that concerned about the 15 percent I know we will never see that again,But what are these kids suppost to do just work pay check to pay check for 40 years and fall over dead? If they get away with this the young people will never see a pencion again. The Rat Bastards

When we voted at the hall for opening the MOU back in November, 131 people took the time to come according to the vote. 87 to 44........ The mail in ballot count for our local was 596. Big difference!!

mike how do you think the vote would go if it were being watched by managment ,and of course its on tape so they can review it over in over ?

Not to good, You know that our TM watches the cameras all day and night. Half the guys would be scared to vote no for fear of their 6th punches and 2 to 4 hours overtime everyday being cut out.

Do you miss the place? LOL

think you missed the point of this thread, its about getting down to vote not what the vote is about
