Yes voters and other people are saying to no voters to just Quit ?? ok then answer this where will they get drivers & dock workers & office help ?? if you have 50% of work force Quits ? then who moves the freight ?? plus they can't get anybody to apply for jobs now , how will they get anybody to apply after 50% of work force Quits ??? are you yes voters going to work 24/7 to move the freight ??? bottom line is treat & pay your workers good and the company will survive ??? :wavey:

if 40 -70 percent of the lazy workers at the big break bulks and medium ones and some small terminals did more then one hook and hour and dock moved more then 2 bills and hour and some of city guys didn't drag there feet to get overtime ever day and the shuttle guys didn't drive 45 mph and screw off at the rail yard or the fuelers screwing off I wouldn't be giving up 15 percent and I would have a pension ever think of that and some of the stupid work rules like Kansas city the guys in the yard have 15 minute clean up rule bs....and then there standing at the time clock at 20 minutes before.... the majority of them are there waiting

so I blame management but I put a lot of the blame on are fellow co workers for screwing off................. the truth hurts I see it every day for 20 years in the yard, the shop, yard guy sleeping in the truck or reading the news paperor the shuttle guy at the rail yard etc talking with his buddy for 20 minutes..or hey the inbound pad is flooded maybe the guys hooking or the mechanic doing nothing could help them get caught up what a great idea........... mean while road guys are sitting on the clock waiting on yard guys to hook or fuelers or mechanics to do there job so more money out the window so you can say management waste money but I see a lot of wasted money from or co workers not doing there job that's why where O/R sucks
 
No I don't want the no voters to quit in fact if a man votes no because he feels there's a better deal to be had or he feels its the right thing to do I respect that and have no issues whatsoever,

But if a man votes no hoping that the doors will close then I say why not quit, if anyone doesn't want to work here any longer then just quit,

Cellblock , you are 100% correct , the clock milking is WHY we are giving back -15% , and I just love it when at night city guys that could punch out , wait & talk about sports or hunting to get 10 or 15 more clicks of the clock , or ones that take 30 mins at night to unload there lunch box from the cab of there city truck , and all the rest of the workers that do the same thing too !!! really need to start FIRING about 3-4 guys a week for clock milking- stealing time !!! and that is from all terminals and at all 4 companies !!!!!

Yes, morale needs to improve. However, you don't get more money to work harder, you work harder to get more money. Three year olds pout and stomp their feet when they don't get their way. If you don't trust the company to give back your concessions were they to return to profitability then you are working for the wrong company.

same people have been screwing off for 20 years just worse now so full pay and benefits and good morale didnt help back the last 15years of full pay ...................... since merger and givebacks
most new guys wanted to work hard and realize how good of a job but the senior members that lack a work ethic said no this is how you do it and you will do it are way

So you are saying YRC cannot survive if all of the no voters quit? And if you did leave, why would you care ?

Non-union purchased transportation will do it for them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Guys like you are still living in the 80's better open your eyes look couple months down the road to what lyes ahead can you say crst or us express? I can't and as much as i hate what they are doing i am voting yes

Probably when this junk becomes non union without closing the doors.The company probably will go to Manpower Services for temps.

Sorry..production suffers when the labor feels decieved and stolen from.sorry.human nature.You can already see the morale shot down.

The Company did not steal anything from you....The current concessions were proposed and put to a vote to the membership...and a majority of the membership voted to accept.....that is NOT "stealing" from you......

How you do your job should have no bearing on how you perceive the conditions that were agreed to.....You should be mature enough to do the job you were hired to do regardless.......you should have the self respect to do the job that you were hired to do....Poor morale and feeling "deceived" ... or that the Company has "stolen" from you, are just nothing more than poor excuses for not doing your Job like a grown up responsible man.....

Voting to possibly shut down your employer because your morale is low and you're mad at the Company is irresponsible...especially when you take into consideration the far reaching ramifications that it would cause... But yes...I know....you, and those that share your view, are just so much "smarter" than anyone else......and only you guys have the "wisdom" to save all the jobs at YRCW.......Yes it just as simple as voting perpetually "no" until you get everything back that they "stole" from you......What a simple minded "plan"... That is a "Plan" for losing everything...without the chance of getting anything back.....

Three year olds pout and stomp their feet when they don't get their way - and then they do get their way and those stomping pouting three year olds grow up and become adults who do the same... IMHO
