Dear Brothers and Sisters,

I currently on my reserves (AT) annual training and I would like to vote. I called my business agent and was told that no telephonic votes will be accepted. I must be present at the hall to be counted. Herein lies the problem /catch-22, how can I vote when at said time I’ll be engaged with my military obligation?

Thanks for your support..

I don't know the answer however I think there should be an exception to policy in your case.

Thanks for providing that blanket of freedom we all have benefited from

Had one of my guys get some grief from the TM about annual training, Hall was not much help. The Company Commander was able to work miracles.

Had the same problem but was allowed to return home early since training was done. Also ask the company about accruing vacation time while on Title 12 orders. Myself as well as other active reservist are SOL on this issue. After returning from serving 8 months I had no vacation carried over or earned from my military leave of absence. Couldn't even get what i earned from the previous year pro-rated so I returned with nothing on the books for vacation. So much for helping me serving our country while working for this company, I wasn't even laid off. Saw it in the UPSF contract but I still haven't received a reply from the company on the "Drive it into the ground" web site. A big Negative vote for that reason...... They can't comply and left me no answer......Their no answer is my no vote, thank you for your service YRC....another big SNAFU:Emoticon_digging::usa2:
