Yellow | this is it !

wow you must be ready to retire....but wait if the doors close it will effect the pensions.....no healthcare, no job and since you're on a 2 week delay no paychecks for the last 2 weeks you worked. ...................now for the good news all those non union lines that won't hire all the union people put out of work from a no vote. but if you're lucky enough to get one you might get to spend a week or weekend home every month. pay for your healthcare out of your check and your expenses on the road....

I think the live to fight another day is a wise choice. Doors will close 2/1/14 if no vote passes, or so we have heard.

You're not living to fight another day, because you're too afraid to fight now. So stop saying that phrase. Just say you're happy to help the company out no matter what it costs, just so I don't have to find a new career.

Hoffa said it himself tonight on the conference call "live to fight another day"....so are you saying the administration is scared to fight today?

Not afraid to fight - Smart enough to know that there is nothing to fight... Smart enough to know that we are facing a devastating decision..... Never mind, you wouldn't understand it anyway....

Do you know that 15% their grabbing out of your pay check each week? Guess where it's going? That's right your funding most if not all of your H&W bennies!

they say yes voters are scared well the no voters are also they could have quite the day we gave up the10 %and week of vacation but they didn't because they know there's not much of a chance for better and most would have to actuall work for 8 hours and get no overtime if its true some dock guys make 100k you aint going to at the local whare house make 12.00 hours for temp agency lol with no overtime, no bennies

in a big city like Chicago 10 percent may find a union job or a decent job the rest are screwed and if you think con way and fed x old dominion will hire some of you yard ,city , dock, shuttle your dreaming they know about you and your work ethic believe me some of your old supervisor are there

I will say it again I have been looking for a better job for the last 20years still havnt found it even after give backs

They want to fight another day, in the meantime they would like to keep collecting your dues. The "another day" will never come, it's always another day, but you can still pay your dues, and by the way, you can give back some more in another year when the company has spent all you gave back this time. As long as you all keep giving, they will be happy to keep taking. The fight is now, not another day.

There is nothing to fight for now, you can only win more if the company has more to give....................this one doesn't

A no yote will close us down. Lets live to fight anothet day !
If this is your 5th YES VOTE what day are you referring to that you plan to fight ??? IF SOMEONE STOLE 3 BILLION DOLLARS FROM ME & COULDN'T ANSWER WHERE IT WENT......I THINK I'D BE FIGHTING THAT DAY

don't worry , you will get your yes vote, but sure is funny , this is the same thing they said back in 2009, 2011 and now again and will say it again in 2018 before the next one , it is sad that you have to work at a place that makes threats to get you to vote yes , so LETS LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY , BUT WHEN AND WHAT DAY WILL THAT BE ???????

That's an easy question to answer. The day to fight, is the day they have their finances in good enough shape for us to say " Ok it is time to restore our Pay and pension, we did our part, it's our turn!"

But NOT when their financials are posted as public knowledge, available to us ALL. Not when the UNION advisor, hired with OUR money to work for us, Says "Bankruptcy is extremely likely" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This job, even though I DONT like ANY concessions, is still Better than a Chance at standing in line for a job at a SC@B LTL carrier! Just sayin..........

These genius's at YRC are incredible, just keep throwing out the B-word and the freight will go on someone's truck and then they will have to start cutting NPME and Holland rates to fill the YRC trailers.

Yellow SUX.
I lived to fight another day when that crap went down with the pension giveaway I left,25% of nothing, the pension was they only thing important to me and my family without it I might as well go buy my own truck, and haul containers.:bananapartyhat:

How about April 13, 2021.... That sound like a good day for a fight? I'll pencil it in on the calendar and send you an e-vite so you don't forget! :)

I was thinking... If we would believe what we are told, If we didn't DEMAND answers, If we could read the financials for ourselves without having to have it translated... The company wouldn't have to go out and tell EVERYONE what their financial status is... BUT... we all ask the questions and want to know "what will happen if we vote NO" "Why is THIS POS MOU the best it gets" etc....

And now you are upset because they keep throwing the "b" word around to the whole world? Do you want the truth or don't you?

Just asking....
