My wife and I have been running Team / extra-board for 10 months. We like it OK, but would like a schedule better. We are the only team at our barn. They used to have several teams, but let them all go during the layoff. They say no one has ever had a team schedule out of here. Any chance of them changing that?
We might consider a transfer (esp. to Atl to see more of new grand daughter). How do transfers and biding work for potential move? Short hopping is main job complaint. If we get out west, everything is fine. In northeast, its not so good.
I'm a longtime freight guy, been with several companies. We started teaming after kids were grown. We like Estes pretty good. I've been around enough to know they all are squeezing and trying to cut costs. I'd just as soon finish up here, but not crazy about this extra- board!
