Actually, I think that you should be thanking the no voters for not accepting the first b.s. offer. But then again, most Meesters don't look at it that way because they are high enough on the seniority list that most of this b.s. doesn't affect them.
Hoodock, I had to be under it to get over it! Nor was I beside it or for it!!! But I kept my thoughts to myself instead of saying ignorant things that I wasn't fully prepared to back up! Apparently you are one of the speak before you think things out! I fully understand and support a no decision on the proposal!!! Sorry if you were offended, I just get sick of hearing how I'm gonna do this and I'm gonna do that!! All talk and no action!! Bottom line is be prepared to back up your threats or keep your mouth shut...... All they have done is take more money and divided us even further then before. We're playing right into there hands. Cracker, never was there a mention of a yes or no vote!!! Read the post before you comment!! I was just talking about how people let their mouth over load their rear!!!! I don't like the rests either, truth be known they would love to see a lot of us gone that has vacation and such!!! It's not all about YES or NO!!!! I think your the one who doesn't get it!!! We had our chance and we gave in!!!!!!! Just like when we took the bonus money for a longer contract!!! And then we gave them the cut in pay twice, and now this!!! What is there to get..... It's obvious!! The union has sold us out and the majority of the members let them do it!! So what is it that I'm not getting, I think it's pretty obvious!!!

I disagree that the Union sold us out. However continuing to gnash your teeth over this will just make you sick and unbearable to live with.
I've been in this union since 1975 and I'm sure jimmy Hoffa senior is rolling over in his grave over what Hoffa jr and Tyson Johnson has done to our union and it's members, freight members anyway!!! I respect all members and there opinions!! NO and YES voters alike!!!! Everyone has a different set of circumstances that drive them.... I'm not bitter about it at all!!! I'm sad that so many good people have worked so hard and have ended up with so little! I've been around for three closings and have lost time for breaks in service and with almost 40 years of union time I will be lucky to see a 25 year pension and that will be at a cut rate!!!! It's just sad to see the division between all of us and the fact that we even have to have these conversations about this is pitiful to say the least!!! Damn, after rereading this maybe I am a little bitter!!!! LOL anyway everybody have a good day and be safe!!!
