Investors betting on Conway's pricing and margin improvement might be in for a rude shock in 2014. The competitive environment is becoming incrementally tougher which will impact both pricing and volumes. Conway's management is selling the margin recovery story to the investors which is unlikely to come to fruition as the company's mix has shifted toward national tonnage which usually has lower margin

Earning down 1.5-2% :regretful:
Guys we got to get these dwell times down!!! It's killing us. Shhhh don't you worry about that 30 million were dumping into lean.

The profit bonus number is a little better this year..it seems..the profit sharing. And please don't give me the old tired line about the ceo's bonus...all ceos get bonus..not all drivers get a bonus. Ya should be glad of that.

I personally believe Doug earns his bonus. He has a lot on his plate everyday of his life!! I would not want his job!!

I agree but wouldn't you love to see him on "Undercover Boss"? I'd love to see if him or Greg are capable of doing all the stuff they espouse... Wonder how long it'd take for him to get a "coaching session"...

Have to be winter time Greg wouldn't know how to handle the heat 2 wheeling 75 cases of cookies into a school, sweating and his hair getting messed up:fan:
 
I would like to see the look on his face when he ask permission to go to the restroom or break room when you have been in the cold for hours. How demoralizing . Not that they don't let you go but,having to ask

I think the CEO over UPS freight gets over $10million a year. I don't know what their numbers are compared to conway though.
