YRC loves you guys.. you think you saved your jobs. All you did was allow the men up top to stuff their pockets full of cash!

This Company will still be going down.. Upper Management, Bankers, Stockholders will live Rich off your backs..

So, when it does shut down, and you're all whining about how much you gave, we will all be looking for new jobs! Quit Drinking the YRC KOOL AID !!!

Thanks Alot !!:eck13:

Wow, first time I've seen it put that way. Good to know, thanks for posting!

What an eloquent observation. I'm so glad you've decided to share your astute opinion. I think that most here understand the tenuous position YRCW Teamsters find themselves. Perhaps you'll enlighten us ALL as to a solution.
Sorry about the sarcasm, but this thread is redundant.

I just wish, one person who posts these types of threads, had the balls to go to his terminal manager and say he could run this terminal better than the people currently doing it, and show proof to everyone on here they actually did say it. And then make the operational decisions.

The same guys who confuse withholding rate with tax rate? Those guys?

Your Brilliance is blinding!...... I know the vote is over......but I'm still in awe of your deep insights and only you could transform such simple minded thoughts into such a soon to be respected literary work of art! ...... Amazing!! .....

Hey....Does anyone have any more of that "Koolade??" ..No??? Ohh I meant Kool Aid ...... The YRC Flavor is the Best.....

dont care what you think bag
Evidently, the previous posters didn't care much about your thoughts either.
My opinion is considered astute by most who read it, so here goes:
The YRC situation is sad at the very least. Between the labor problems, management problems and financial problems, there isn't much to cheer about. However, my wife has a great saying on her office wall: LEADERS think and talk about solutions. FOLLOWERS think and talk about problems. I couldn't agree more!
When the labor force at YRC has all of their members on track to try to make things better, it will benefit all of us. When the management, PARTICULARLY the senior corporate management, figures out that respecting their labor force makes for a respected and respectable labor force, things will get better. When we as a company start taking care of business like it's important to us (which it is), then things will get better. Here's what I see as needing to happen:

1) Dockworkers and drivers-come to work no matter what the weather so long as it's safe to do so, and do your job well.
2) Front line managers and supervisors-THINK!! Work hard to take care of the customers and their transportation needs
3) Senior management-make prudent and sensible executive decisions and strategies. Quit trying to run every aspect of the company from the Roe Avenue palace. Let the local management MANAGE; that's what they're being paid to do. Respect the rank-and-file folks. This company is a classic application of "The sergeants run the Army."

That's the take from here.

I have a "saying," too!

Those that can, do!

Those that can't, manage.

Those that can't manage, manage managers.

Never seen it happen at RDWY or YRC. That would be a dramatic change that would take a long time to implement.

Your point is well made, but it is possible. However, likely is a whole different story.

There is enough discord and controversy here with out people STARTING new threads whose topic is already covered, ALOT! Why YELLOWMAN do you feel compelled to take ownership of PO'd I don't know. Anyone who is employed at any YRCW company is unhappy.
