Yellow | Barn rules being threatend at 326

Are you really that stupid? You don't think that out of 26,000 Teamsters there might be one or two with bad attitudes who might take advantage of a good thing and ruin it for the other 25,998? I guess in your delusional fantasy world that would never happen. What a clown. I asked in my post if that was possibly the case and you come back with some jerk comment.

PS - Who puts the holes in the headliners and dash boards of tractors? Halloween pranksters?

The old few bad apples farce. The companys been using that as the reason for taking things away for the 4 decades I've been in the industry. It works good for them because they shift the blame from themselves.

Let's be real, it does happen, there have always been a few bad apples. To deny it just makes us look dishonest. I've seen it with my own eyes many times in many places over the almost 5 decades since I first started driving. Not to say that's what's going on here, just why I asked.

I don't deny there are bad apples, they should be dealt with individually, punishing the whole group for the actions of a few is no way to build morale at a time when it is desperately needed.

Have you put paper in on this?
Use your grievance rights,
Protest if you think it is against the contract

No one will get involved, or be able to take corrective action, unless you raise the red flag at 326

Already happening we were asked by the stewards to put up with their b s for a couple days as the local has been in working with the international on this matter. they have informed us that this will not stand as we have past practice and I believe there is white paper agreement on this back to 1984.

I totally agree with you there. In a perfect world that would be the way it works, but sadly it doesn't. I just wondered if that was what was going on with the original post. It looks like this is something being implemented all over.

Line up by seniority at time clock each shift. When the buzzer rings punch in.
What a cluster F with shifts punching in and out at same time.
Beat them at their own game...........

The shop was told last Friday that the 5 min wash period was being done away with and same with the Local cartage men Sunday Morning with their 5 min early out punch for the Half mile walk they have to walk that has been in place since the 70s. The DC manager (East Coast Ernie) gave his speech today to the midnight and 0800 shift stating the mou took out the barn rules and other agreements that would be discussed through the week. I guess whenever it suits them. Nobody voted on that crap!

The TM said the same thing today at Holland Akron. Here we go!
