Any info you people can tell me (good or bad) for a new hire coming in to Dayton Linehaul?

On the change of operations in 2009 i could have transferred to Dayton 064 with 3 years seniority. At the time I would have been transferring into a layoff. If 064 is hiring now that's a good sign but don't be shocked when you get laid off

I used to run city and work the dock and every year roaddrivers would get laid off during the winter and other slow times. Of course they had a chance to work the dock ahead of casuals and once worked a day that week would be on call for the rest of the week. Ive seen the ***** management team fire out letters for not answering the phone. Branch manager and vp are dicks and road dispatch for the most part was inexperienced. Dont know if other end of the line terminals like lima and maybe zanesville will dovetail in after the change

i actually enjoyed working linehaul at 064, had to transfer to the dock due to my childs medical problems at the time... but they were always professional... just at the bottom of the hog board can suck when they are slow... didnt mind the dock except when they threw me in the city and had to do grocery warehouses all day!!!
