Yellow | Tennessee Volkswagen plant votes against union in UAW defeat

The problem of organizing is complex. But one big obstacle is education. And by that I mean labor history and it's contributions to America are NOT part of ANY curriculum in most schools.

This country is so backwards sometimes when it comes to improving the middle class. The US is the only division in VW that is non union across the world. The Germans union brothers are thinking those dumb down americans---- VW supports the union and the workers vote it down cause of the politicians from Tenn said they would not allow for expansion of the plant. Really??? Really people, is this what we have come to as a nation??? We are now looked at as not a discount but as sell outs to keep the unionism out as they think RTWFL (right to work for less) is a good thing. DAMN!!!!!

HMMM Seems to me there was a freight company as of late that did just about the same thing, Not by keeping unions out, but keeping corruption within...Those dumb American Truckers voted not because of politicians, but rather what the company was threatening, with the backing of the IBT... AMAZING

I think in principle it is the same by comparison...Both voted out of fear...One voted to keep the union out....One voted just for a paycheck and the destruction of their pensions, along with those wanting to and are already retired!!!

Your right wolf. Abf contact was passed from fear... I have said that from the start. And was passed while company was profitable.. Not denying that fact..

Memory fades as we get older. Don't remember if I supported it or not so you'll have to link me to it.

Your not much help man....I figured you knew....Guess you don't either. And can you honestly tell me why it would make a difference if someone supported it or not? It is now the law of the land either way. Ask me if I work for YRC anymore or if I'm retired, now that I can answer. :)
