Evidently Barney must be extremely sensitive. Having read back through the thread, RC feels that he exercised considerable restraint. Perhaps Barney should consider another career where he won't feel so abused.

Got that right cupcake. I don't **** around. I have no use for post *****s and company suck asses. I ask a simple question and post ***** and brainwashed company Kool Aid drinking suck asses come back and bash me. Been doing this for 33 years. Maybe I believe in standing up for what's right. Maybe some day you girls will pull the panties up and understand where I'm coming from.

I don't quite know what RC thinks he is? Dose RC actually drive a truck or is RC just an ass hole troll post ***** looking for attention? FWIW, RC brings nothing to this board. Other from I've seen, RC is an attention *****. Who else would post something like this. The center that you have to via to do they let those drivers leave while you are on the dock? You say that your trailers are in the handheld do you ask to leave. I would call central dispatch if that doesn't work play the game get extended one day then tell them you cant make the trip unless you leave early the rest of the week. Good luck.
 
At the risk of starting another pitched battle about HOS. IF you normally return to your home terminal every trip, and IF you have not laid over any where in the last seven days or since your last 34 hr restart, you may work an extra 2 hours one day a week. Now here is the part where we all disagree. As long as you do not drive more than 11 hrs, you may drive after your 14th hour up to your 16th hour. So if you do the via, don't kill yourself to do it in 14 hrs. Even if it's 14 hrs and one minute, you've shot your wad for the week. If they make you do it again, at 14hrs you park and pick up the phone. There is no make it to a safe haven. At 14 you park, put yourself on the clock and call them to come pick your ass up. End of story.

Sounds spot on to GT, RC, nothing to disagree about, the entire post is correct. Other than the safe haven thing, I would like to hear your take on that, I have always been told find the next safe place to park, no one wants a truck on the right of way waiting on a ride, but then again, pre planning comes into play.
