YRC has some of the best drivers on the road. Management are the dumbazzes for not knowing it. Its time for everyone to start sticking together at all companies. You should not have to jump ship to get respect. Demand respect everyday and stick together best you can everyday. I guess Management don't know all the Bullcrap you put up with everyday. I'm sure the other companies love getting you guys from them.
 
Usually when you see headlines that a new president shakes up management, it means heads roll. Apparently this one means to create new divisions with new VP s, interesting....
 
It is time for heads to roll. How about when you are sent out with less fuel than it takes to make the run and are told to buy fuel on the road. This when the terminal has facilities to fuel. 211 for instance. Or known defects written up and signed off but you can,t read the signature and the shop doesn't know anything about it and can't find a work order for it. It must have been fixed because it is signed off, right?
 
I'm going to give it a guess.. very few of you, if any, actually got on the call the other night to hear what he had to say, am I close? I was on the call and I know there was still room left for people to call in.. cause I called in on my other line in the middle of the call, just to see if all 1000 lines had been used... SOOO out of 26,000 employees - LE$$ than 1,000 were interested in the running of the company!! That my friends is the sickest, saddest thing I've EVER heard.....

SOOOOOO - What is everyone jawin' about? Do you know WHY he did it?? More to the point, do you actually care WHY or are you more interested in the fact that it gives you something else to boo-hoo about?

Tell us about it, that was last week & the end of the month, I was calling management trying to get someone to back me up cause I was getting blown out with freight to pick up and as usual SNAFU. Had to make my own call to get the job done...

wow... as a former YRC Supervisor/Current Teamster... there are names on this list who shouldn't be here at all... I'm in awe of the stupidity that continues daily at this company. Wow... ABF does some dumb Sh*t but holy crap YRC takes the cake.

do you honestly think he is going to try or do something somebody dumber than him hasn't done before. Come on?,you must be a new hire.
 
What's his plan for hiring drivers if he does grow the business? The pay scale is unattractive now and will get uglier over the next 5 years.
