FedEx Freight | Don't Be Shy ... Tell Us Your Praise or Complaints of your job Part 2

That's all well and good driver, I applaud your tenure and respect the time you've put in, but in revealing your seniority, you really have nothing to lose and everything to gain from hire-date seniority being the law of the land. So was it just a pissing contest you're looking for? Because your seniority statement really just undermined your op where you came across as someone that could potentially get "bumped". So Uhm , yeah. Nice try driver.

Abt the only thing you've said so far that was true was the definition of EZTDBW, and the fact that I'm not a line driver (don't have any ambition to do that either) I'm just a city driver for the past umpteen years.

Oh, btw the 19882 isn't my #, it was the # of a driver that is no longer with us.

Oh, at this stage of my career I have no fear of being displaced. It is a feeling that has been nurtured over the years, most recently with the influx of immigrants from Watkins that think they are entitled to the sun and the moon.
It's others that might get screwed if the whining malcontents are appeased.

Sometimes I discard smartass RC when speaking how I really feel.
In case you hadn't noticed I have some rather strong feelings about this.

As do I my brother in labor, as do I.

But it's intriguing to ponder how the rest of the workforce feels on the subject, bc that's ultimately how things either change or stay the course...

IDK, I kinda liked the old "DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME" still got a few of those pins laying around somewhere. But just like EZTDBW, something management seems to ignore nowdays.

lol Watkins immigrants are about as bad as those American freightways immigrants or the Viking ones dang those immigrants wait what has fed ex ever started ohh yeah nothing except buying and combining profitiable companies and screaming and crying we losing money lol now that's great ivy league management

All this talk of immigrants makes me think Marco Rubio is posting here! Lol

Since were all immigrants (Viking, af, and Watkins) , does that make us "anchor babies" in the FedEx hierarchy?

Sorry RC, the only saying I remember b4 EZTDBW was Do It Right The First Time. I'm gna have to ask the 4-digit Vikings at my barn (see, not some lil Podunk barn) abt that!

I just reached my 35 years at watkins national fedex freight. It's not all bad,Do your work keep your nose clean and mind your own business and you will go a long ways. Will miss this one day but for now////KEEP ON TRUCKING....says Indian Man.City hauler....Always.

Hello. Somebody call?

You can forget about any future raises at FedEx Freight. You cannot tell me that this recent accident in Northern California, where a new driver plowed head on into a tour bus, and killed 10 people, and burned a few more. I'm sure FedEx will change their hiring practices, putting new drivers in a set of doubles, with only weeks of training in some FedEx parking lot, with lazy, know it all senior driver trainers. Besides, how many hours did this driver work the dock, then get in a set, and drive down a dark, lonely, freeway back to his terminal.
