Anyone heard any news coming out of the new YRC president meeting with VP's, TM's in Chicago?:Violin:

Is it time to re-align everything that was re-aligned that was re-align when everything was re-aligned before? This was before everything was re-aligned!
 
So we are going to have a meeting about a meeting for a meeting but yet schedule another meeting but have lunch served with it about the great direction company is going? The traveling circus must sell the new BS!:woohoo1:

The meeting was about the change of operations coming up on how to realign the bill printers at all terminals. It was discovered in another previous meeting that most management had no knowledge on how to realign the printers.
 
Seems strange that at least 11 road drivers were fired on 3/12. looks like most were on extended sick leave or fmla. Now hearing they are bringing in up to 70 new hires most straight out of school.

Of course we can move the freight through the combination the synergy's of the current model we can predict a continued growth of operation in the Chicago land area that is in line with the regional s.We will focus on the line of sight measurements! and lets get that Ridge running again!!

This is a somewhat misleading post. First of all none of the 11 were on FMLA. Secondly, they were on ESL (extended sick leave) and failed to respond to a "72 hour notice" sent Certified Mail to their last known address. None were fired, they were removed from the seniority list.
It is clearly stated in the "72 hour notice" that "failure to respond will result in your removal from the seniority list". This is not the first time, nor will it be the last time this will occur.
