He won't get anything like that. He will get exactly what he should have gotten in the first place. Any lost wages and a return to his seniority.

Integrity ? Really ?
Typical conway nonsense!!! But don't worry beerfd with show up with the koolaid soon and have a reason for conways behavior drink the koolaid just drink the koolaid!!!

"Con-way is disappointed that the Department of Justice brought this action against our company"

Well no crap they are disappointed. They are disappointed that they aren't going to get away with screwing this guy on his pay and seniority. They can shove that integrity star clean up their arse...

Conways disappointed with the department of justices action. Now they know how all the dsrs feel daily. I get pleasure knowing the corporation is in trouble with this issue. Jerks

Says the DSR started in 1987, Left conway in 2006 for active duty, went to what sounds like light duty in 2009 following an honorable discharge and was fully recovered and ready for regular duty in 2012 but according to the article they wouldn't give him his seniority or ending pay back so he was placed on the flex board.

Looks like to me he was eventually given his position back but 6 months after eligibility so they're seeking back pay. Here's the department of justice release USDOJ: Justice Department Files Lawsuit Against Con-Way Freight Inc. to Enforce Reemployment Rights of Temporarily Disabled Servicemember

I don't know light duty for three years on a non work related injury.... im not trying to be cold but I think they may have done all they had too...

The law says he should be reinstated as before...i'm willing to bet that the top brass didn't know about this until now...there is no way they would want this press to get out. I'm willing to bet that somebody in HR will be looking for another job..just as Howller said, this is on the DOJ website. Not good.

People like you are why this had to made a law. Unbelievable.

No it wasn't work related. It was COUNTRY related.

Integrity ? Really ???

Should be more than just one. Sacrificing a scape goat isn't gonna fix stuff like this.

Hey wasn't that long ago one of our big cheese up top was on 60 min tv saying all the good they do for our troops?

There are dummies out there. Many of them are in positions of authority. That said, I will wait for "all the facts" to come out before roasting the entire company on giant pyre of hatred.
PR reasons alone should have kept it from getting to this point. I'm interested in their position and how they defend this.

Sounds like you borrowed your brush from Beerfd...

Con way knew the laws, they just hoped to get one up on someone. I think its funny how all the negativity is coming out about how con way operates.
