Yellow | Onion Bro turned me in!!!

What terminal was that? I was told that the terminal manager at 309 [ some time back not there anymore] called the cops and had the drivers pinched for not coming to a full stop b/4 coming in the yard . Even the cop said what an ******* .

The incident you are refering to was caused by a dockman. There is a Salk Village water department pump station in the north parking lot. A Salk Village employee was leaving the north lot after some routine maintenance work. A brain surgeon dockman was in a hurry to leave and when the Salk Village water department employee stopped for the stop sign the dockman drove around him. Not being satisfied with RUNNING a stop sign he also flipped off the Salk Village employee as he drove around and also verbally expressed his opinion. The Salk Village employee filed a police report.
Try to get the facts before you post your garbage.

I apologize for the garbage comment. The police observed traffic violations and responded accordingly. They would not have been there if one of our union brothers had not behaved so badly.

we are nearly an all rat barn. local has created an" every man for himself" template for every kind of deal and contractual leeway. seniority is relative to your brown-nosing quotient. very few of us insist that there is a set of rules under which we all work.
rulings are ignored, contract ignored, deals made with local and individuals(easily beaten in hearings) but local ignores or is complicit by a failure to act.

its a damned shame its come to this. the end of era

I blame the international for this. How can a member know what is going on when grievances are vague in detail, only to be settled and withdrawn? Seems like being
Treated like mushrooms how both parties agree on treating us.

you are right on that hoosier.
when we 1st had the utility guys come into the kernersville dock.we had filed 2-300 grievences[ most brought to our attention from the drivers themselfs.
they were all just tossed away reguardless of the violations.

I blame the International also for the lack of Unity and the lack of "teeth" nowadays. Our BA's would rather not even deal with issues or back us on a grievance because they have no support from the International. If the BA's were to stick their neck out to help or protect us, they get their wings clipped from the International and get told to just back off for now, until YRCW gets back on their feet. I blame the International, not the BA's.

dont be fooled. they meaning the locals are just following orders from a higher pay grade.

Who wants to believe a guy that has no respect for the UNION by calling it onion.

The board name you picked fits you perfectly! Is that how you spend all your time on layoff!
We'll just call you stroke for "short"!
