B.S. story prolly ????? yrcw will not let us spend their BONUS money to build it ?? just like these so called new trucks & trailers coming ???? guess the tooth fairy is bringing them ???

It is true they are building a new terminal for Grand Rapids.They move a lot of bills in a very small terminal from what I am told.I'm happy for them .
In addition to the Grand Rapids terminal they also discussed a terminal in Erie Pennsylvania to better serve New Penn.To me the thing that sucks is there are no plans for growth (expansion in coverage areas) with Holland, yet Yellow plans on a couple of new terminals, including a huge mega terminal in Vegas.I truly want them to make it but they can't manage to make money on what they have now.More revenue for them just equals more losses.
If they do not make money in the 2nd quarter I truly believe and hope our current ceo will be gone.It also seems like the leadership at the helm for Holland can't get a grip.Most of the time equity firms replace ceo's . We will soon find out.
 
Hells bells man, YRC isn't going to pay for this new terminal, they'll let Estes or Old Dominion build it and then lease it back, just they have done to all of our terminals. We are building Estes & OD (Grooming would be a better way to put it) to fill our shoes (Pun intended) when the current MIS Management of this ship runs us aground! Who do you think owns the majority of our terminals?? Estes was the big winner, and we pay a "monthly" rent to them, courtesy of $Bill Zollars.
 
this is B.S. !!! we sold everything off and leased back from Estes , have Estes build it !!! plus money for that but not our wages ??
 
The GR terminal is true and also opening a terminal in Pittsburgh to service only 30-40 mile radius of city.

:2437: Rumor has it they are looking at the old Preston Terminal, owned by R& L. We need to bolster our competition a little more..
 
If anyone is interested, the new terminal is suppose to be a few miles south of hwy 6 at exit 72 on hwy 131. You will head east on 100th street and the first light is Division. The terminal is suppose to be built near that intersection. They have not broken ground yet.
 
Where is the terminal in Pittsburgh going to be
located!!! Where is the old Preston terminal at? Any where near MARS PA. Where our old terminal used to be??
 
New Terminals and New Trucks

LMAO I hope the tooth Fairy comes soon ! They might lease a few trucks to make you think they are buying new trucks but they would have to show me to get me to belive those lieing bastards.

I hope the best for you guys, Estes is does some things that will make your head spin, I spent alot of time there and glad I got out. God help this industry if Estes ever leads the pack..

They could make money but they don't want to. They want to make just enough to pay their bills and give themselves nice big pay days! How else are going to keep coming back for beg backs!
