Are there any companies out there who will hire us...

You can start con-way with basic hospitalization the first year. No dental. And they are hiring everywhere. Just putting it out there. Conway freight.

What Group do you have on Facebook so i can add it?
My group on Facebook has members listing companies willing to hire NCT drivers. As for benefits, very few companies offer immediate benefits; your best bet may be to apply for Medicaid to cover you until your new company benefits can kick in.

As a long standing NCT employee in HR please allow me to assist you in placement. I'm in the same boat as you. Please feel free to ask any questions - I will give you an honest answer. It's a snake pit right now.
I will do
my best to refer you to the best company to match your needs.

The group is called Trucker Lifeline, here is a direct link to it.

I feel everybody's pain, and I hope for the best for all of you. I hope that the group will help some at least. Right now my husband's job is in limbo, thanks to an erroneous DAC entry; so we may also be pounding the pavement very soon. I hope you can all find new employment quickly.

Do you work in HR at NCT? mhaley

If you live in PA and want a great job call Optimum Logistic Solutions. Our drivers run local work and are paid by the hour. If you work over 8 hours in a day it is OT. Our drivers make between $18 - $22.00 an hour and average $1300-$1500 a week and have the weekends off. I have worked in the transportation business for 8 years and never saw these kind of paychecks until I came to Optimum, and I worked for some pretty big companies. If you are interested please call 877-532-2540. The terminal is located in Allentown but there is work all over. Benefits start after 60 days and are very good.

They should make an exception because we did not quit this job, especially if they want NCT drivers. What facebook group is that?

While it is sad and a raw deal quit being a victim, nobody should make any exceptions for you, put your big boy pants on and go find a job.

If there are current health issues with your family, cobra maybe the only solution.

Estes going to deliver your freight and supposedly has 1st rights to interview all drivers. Go to our board and read the statement posted. Good luck to all.

I can't help with benefits on day 1, but ours do kick in between 60-90 days after hire and it's pretty good coverage. If you're willing to make a change from LTL freight to auto hauling, Precision Motor Transport Group is hiring drivers for our NE Regional runs. We also train for the car hauling if you've never done it before. I can use drivers out of NJ, PA, DE, MD, NY, pretty much anywhere New Century was hiring out of. Paid training, vacation time, paid holidays, 401k and health/dental/prescription insurance are all available. Steady work and a good paycheck for those willing to put in the time to learn it. Fleet average for company drivers last year was over $72k. New drivers that have never hauled cars before averaged $60k first year. Apply on our website or call a recruiter for more information:
