Hey I was wondering what the pay scale for double and triples in North Lima Ohio terminal? I saw online that they were hiring drivers. Thanks any information would be helpful!

I don't know about the triples but you can figure somewhere around $.57/mile for the doubles and .25 hr. pay every time you crank a landing gear. I would expect a couple of pennies more for triples but someone else should be able to be more specific.

According to my paycheck the millage pay is .5687,hourly pay is 22.6455. I do not run out of Chicago but what the Chigao driver's have told me is you get an extra penny per mile for triples.

If the Chicago driver's were not pulling my chain you have to be with the company for 5 years before you are qualified for triples.

in ohio, you must have pulled doubles for 5 years before you can be triples certified.
I am curious as to what qualifies as pulling doubles. I pull them fairly regularly in the city and have had the endorsement since 1990 or so when the CDL came out. How would they police that qualification? I mean what if I just claim I have pulled them? That is how I got my class 3 in 1976 when they first came out.

The pay is currently .5685 per mile with doubles. Triples is around .58 per mile. You must have 5 years experience with doubles to pull triples. You can have the experience from a different company, just must be 5 years. I believe you would start at 90 percent of that pay. We will be getting 2 percent back July 1st.

At the bottom of the board you may have days you can't get out. We have a hog board so you will get hogged on a lot. One day we are busier than hell the next dead. It's tough at first believe me. You wait and wait for a phone call. You may be up all day and run all night.

I am not trying to discourage you just giving you facts. The pay is good. Benefits paid for 100 percent. Holiday pay, sick days, personal day. You will work 6 trips then u get 48 hours off, which will be 1 complete 24 hour off. Example you finish your 6th trip Sunday 5pm you are on board Tuesday 5pm so your only complete day off is Monday. Hope this helps
