I hear that a SC in the NW lost a long time OM to another company. They also lost a good dispatcher to the same company that a VERY long term dispatcher was gotten rid of because the Regional guy didn't like him anymore. Plus several experienced drivers went to a start up medical delivery service. This all out of one SC in the last year. Makes one wonder just what is going on there. But I hear red shirts are jumping ship all over the place. And anyone that goes into management for this company are either desperate or hate their home lives.

You hear? You work at that SC and you know everyone personally. Anyway, anyone who goes into management thinks they're the man until they realize that having FEDEX on their resume' is a good thing then they get smart and look for another job.

Guess the redshirts really are smarter than the drivers. After all, if things really are as bad as you claim, they're long gone and you're still here....just sayin'.

They just don't want to work for a company who doesn't care about safety. I mean, how can they claim they do only going back three years, and not five? :biglaugh:

We lost alot of our mangement to Vitran a couple years ago. How did that work out for them?

My guess is they're happy. Maybe Vitran didn't work out. But they took a chance for some reason.

Well Franklin--Since I left there--myself and other drivers that went to the same other LTL company are sure glad we did especially after one of those OM departed. Wish all of you good luck over at the old barn cuz think your going to need it. I have got to say its sure nice to work for another company that actually appreciates you and doesn't look at its employees as a liabillity. Hope you make it to retirement.

So going back only 3 years instead of 5 means they're not enforcing safety rules and raising the standards to attempt to get folks to actually practice safety? Safety matters. The American driving public is tired of so called professional drivers wrecklessly ending the lives of innocent folks who are on their way to a family gathering and get steamrolled by some ******* trucker who's over hours, over miles and driving too fast. SLOW DOWN! I get there when I can safely get there. Gate times, run times be damned.

Safety first and foremost.

You really don't understand sarcasm do you? I even put the emoticon in there to further illustrate that it was sarcasm.
