SAIA | FusionHealth and Sleep Apnea

After you drink that Kool - Aid for awhile you will change your tune R.T. I'm glad you're happy, but working P&D for Saia sucks. Did it for 4 yrs.you will see. No place for guys over 40. Linehaul is a pretty good gig though.
You could be right............But so far I'm happy...........They treat me fair here and I have very little to complain about.....Both the city and linehaul dispatchers are pretty cool.

Maybe I should have put this on the vent thread but it stays on the topic of Sleep Apnea..........I got my cpap machine and have started using it and have not gotten a good night sleep since then. My diagnosis I believe is incorrect but I'm willing to accept it and move forward............I hope my body adjust to it and things work out in a positive manner..........I will keep you guys posted,

I've been on CPAP for 3 yrs now.I 1st hated it.I love it now. There are several great forum sight's for support. Also train my private message is alway's open if you need any support.I have found something's by trial&error that has work'd for me.I'm using a nasal mask with a chin strap.I have had really good luck.My biggest thing I tell guy's who are starting.Remember you only have to show 4 hour's a night/day..Get atleast 4 on it&toss to the side&go back to sleep. It will get better..

Thanks Kenneth I will try the nasal mask and see how it works this week.........I will send you a PM for advice if things don't get better in a couple of weeks.....I think my body just needs time to adjust and I'm hoping things will settle down.....Not being able to sleep on my stomach with my head snuggled in a pillow is rather bothersome.....And of course the Ole Lady laughing at me is also irritating although I know she's just messing with me.

Just don't hang yourself in the hose.lol.keep the hose suspend'd above you will help you out more than anything. If you have a headboard get you a hook or a flower pot hanger &fasten to hang hose.I have a swivel'd hanger above me on the wall.I also have a portable hose hanger that I can take when I travel..Check them out..Also a little vick's vapor rub does wonder's when you sleep.A little on the nose. You may want to take you something to relax at sleep time till you get use to the hose.It will come around.Good Luck.I start'd with the full face.UGGGG!!!Hated it.Went to the mirage fx nasal.work's great..I'm a mouth breather so I had to do the chin strap thing..Good Luck.
