Still haven't set mine off on the road and been called in. I'm at a terminal that had them before most and my truck was one of the first to get it. Doesn't bother me anymore. I still smoke when hooking my set and so on. I'm not the biggest fan of them but it is what it is and I'm over it. I generally feel that it would aid me in a really bad situation on the road.
 
You guys can have the cameras sorry been doing this 16 years don't need it don't need coached I'm big boy I go to the bathroom by myself and everything u koolaid drinkers can keep your cameras and when and they will start handing out loi and don't wanna here any crying cameras are a joke if you need a camera to defend yourself in accident in stead of a mans word something is really wrong

I understand their/They're trying to catch you making a mistake and for the regular / normal driver ,,, ask (what could you have done to avoid this) and help you correct your mistake happening again.... so ..... for most of us.... Forward should really be enough for the normal driver but you'd be amazed at what I've seen on the conway videos. Unbelievable what drivers have done and do .... every day.

So, as bad as I feel lol and as much as I'd have said against this 6 months ago .... Hell No.... After what I've seen.... I say , as a company, Both views are for the best........

just a question for you. Are you a driver trainer or an sme with the cameras?

One of our guys got into a accident. They tell you to press both blue buttons to download the video. What they don't tell you is that it downloads ALL the video for the last 12 or 24 hours. I can't remember which it is.

Pressing and holding the buttons just does the same thing that happens every night at 2:00 am when the camera downloads. The only thing that gets downloaded is events that have been saved.
 
Still a waste of money they are good that. So beerfd u think your word isnt worth anything? Im ccurious to know wyy unless u havent been here long enough to know how it once was.
 
You know you can activate the camera yourself right?

Once again activated camera and said just got hit by a texting driver and as you can see I opened up my turn very wide". Once again non preventable that same night. So you crying about the cameras is not making me feel sorry for you. Put up or shut up. You have yourself a great day.

Nope haven't been caught at anything yet!! Not mad just saying why are you mad???
 
I talked to our guy that handles all of the downloads off of the cameras and does the interventions. He told me that when you press the blue button for a couple of seconds it does a download of the recorded events. If you get into a accident Line-Haul tells you to hold the buttons (both) for 20 seconds. Even if there is NO events recorded. Why? They are able to look at more than event records. Here is something else fishy. Any product you buy comes with a operationans manual. Everything. Look online, you will not be able to find any owners manual on the cameras. The only thing you will find is a installation manual. DriveCam don't want employees to actually know ahat the camera is capable of doing.
