Rogersville,TN.Woman was killed when a trucker was attempting a turn hit her head-on

Another tragic and unnecessary fatal wreck on a beautiful clear afternoon. Prayers and Blessings for the Infant and the Deceased. I'm thinking Grand Parents maybe?

All the driver had to do was get off at that exit and head left there was a Walmart right there he could have turned around at.

I have been retired now since 2008,When I was learning the city I'd call out on my CB to anyone that knew the best route to use.
Of course those times of learning my way around was way back in the 1960's.

However I do know when your lost, not used to any area, there maybe a good place to turn around just a little way off from your location.
But why would you know that?

So wonder don't truckers still use CB's to ask area local drivers to help them out,to avoid negative out comes such as this crash?

Brother Apostolic, the first problem is, more and more Driver's do not speak English as their first language. 2) they rely on a GPS made for cars, how many times have you and others posted those accidents? 3) less than 2, sometimes less than 1 yr. exp. 4) no , they don't use CB radios for truck to truck communication.

I wonder why this woman and her husband didn't see the truck and slow to a stop in time to avoid contact?
