we asked in our workplace about unsigned corrective actions and asked is it possible for it to be still put in your file and they said sure it is. so for all you smart guys out there that think they have a clean file{{{{{ they still go in}}}}}:6788: but they write on it{{{{{ driver refused to sign on it}}}}}}}}.

Original quote was:
Why don't corrective action (and/or coaching) forms require an employee signature? Without that, do you really know what's in your file?

I've never refused to sign. If I did the crime, I'll take the hit. Fair enough. When I dispute the accuracy of the write up, I write my response on the form, then sign, copy and send to H/R. Often (in the past) H/R would overturn the action.

Still, coaching forms don't need a signature, ever. Seems to me they should, to verify you did in fact receive coaching. Like Mr. whatsthedelaysir said, your file could get FAT without your knowing. Difficult to dispute things months after the fact...

you can ask to see your file at any time....when you or if you signed write a statement at the bottom...if they tell you that you can't call HR...not that that would help...lets them know you aren't skeered

Sad part about a coaching is if you are spoken to about anything from a supervisor they can call it a coaching and never even tell you.

I never agreed with coaching w/o signature or driver being aware of it. Any time I had to do a coaching, I told the driver about it. Only common sense. From what I hear about current supervision at FXF, I would imagine several workers' files are getting thick without their knowledge.

I whole heartedly believe that...
