Central Transport | I'm gone!

Nope. I've worked in LTL since I was 17 years old. Worked for YRC durring College and first TM job at 21 years old.
I haven't been given anything, worked for everything I've ever had. If you knew me from this board, which you don't, I was always sticking up for CT.
Not because I loved it but because I am a team player. But there comes a time when everyone has to look after their own future when you realize that going the extra mile just isn't worth it.

But again, keep running your trap.....

Yes in the beginning you ripped my ass for ragging on Central......And if some would take the time to go back and look at my post you would notice I too was positive.....Despite the history I had with the TM Jon Hartman....That worthless POS that was terminated.....My good friend Southside Stress who now works for UPS knows what a POS he is...So does my friend Snark Monkey at YRC..........The way he treated his staff when he was the VP of operations at Vitran was horrible...The things I seen this man do in Dallas was beyond belief.....He never got over his demotion to a TM.....He needs to get his ass back to Tennessee and stay....But like you said when you see all your hard work being done in vain and going the extra mile was not appreciated .....It's time to move on.....And we did.

Train,
Yes, I will agree that I was overly positive at times. I know how CT treated drivers but I can also assure you that you can speak
to any of my 29 driver I had at CT (11 of which I had from November 2008 at Milan Express who all stayed with me)
that my terminal was a great place to work. They were great men and women who do deserve a better life than CT.
From the equipment to simply having to go to the bank every Friday because Matthew refuses to start direct deposit.
Leaving my drivers was the hardest thing I had to deal with. Since I've brought over 6 drivers to the new company and hope to bring
over even more.
I also agree with you on Jon Hartman. The man drove his "region" at Vitran down the drain and did the same at CT. I was very lucky to
have never worked with him closely. He is truely a cancer.

This post was not a get a high five or "ego stroked". Ego is one thing I don't have.
It was only to update everyone who's seen my on these board.

My brother no explanation is needed....You are a class act.....We both have learned humility through years in this business.

I've always said the TM you have can make or break your experience at CT. I've been fairly lucky.

CT still has a long way to go if they really intend to start winning back drivers. We're so under staffed right now, with almost no applicants, it's crazy. But, with a driver shortage industry wide, and other LTL carriers offering more money and better benefits, people are going there first.
