we lost that money because our management wanted it, not because conway was experiencing financial difficulty. We lost it because we are weak. We lost it because we remained silent over all the other bennies we had taken from us. Yrc may have been the excuse but it wasn't the reason. Conway takes what conway wants. Please put the blame where it belongs.

Here is the thing. The stock is over $50 a share. And they increased the dividend to the share holders.

We lost a lot but not near what YRC lost. Those guys are still jumping ship. Driving horrible equipment. Giving back 15%. And their retirement is trashed. I could go on. But hey, they got it bad.

And they STILL have it bad. We got some money back because the other LTL's specifically OD pay better and offer similar benefits and scheduling.

It is the YRC mess that has the LTL world shook up. As soon as they took concessions we got ours. When they finally die we can all move forward.

Only time I saw a guy go after a forum, they didn't have to let him back on but they had to delete all of the content he had written and all the quotes others had quoted what he'd written over the years. They said it was a mess.
 
I disagree. If it was that simple. That there were plenty of jobs out there that would have paid you better. You would have left already.
I would have been a fool to leave over a 5% cut to go start over somewhere else. I am trying to find my way out now though. It's not always about $$$$, sometimes it's about family and scheduling.
 
How much do you think that YRC has lost to their union job since that same time period.. we've gotten several raises..your a stooge for the union people..no wonder nobody respects you. Your not too smart.

When including pension payments and $330/week in health and welfare, the overall package at YRC companies is better than the non-union companies.

So your blaming YRC.. That is extremely laughable. So now your stating that YRC runs Conway and because YRC took a concession Conway took one as well .... Come on!! Your spins are getting a little on the absurd side.
You are sounding more and more desperate as the days go by. It's so apparent your desperate that you are calling your old ally merdok to come and help you. So sad that you can't handle this on your own. The spins and lies are not working very well for you now are they?

Enough of YRC. That company has NOTHING TO DO WITH CONWAY!!! Stop trying to cloud the waters. This is about Conway. This is about forming a union and finally getting to a level playing field. Getting a contract should be the only thing on the minds of the employee's that have lived through all the changes this company did and does without any say so or input of their workforce.

If you want to talk about another LTL carrier talk about UPS Freight. Talk about how much more money they are making compared to Conway, talk about the protections they have that they didn't have when they were Overnight! Your mind is so stuck on OD. You try to steer your non-union agenda to other companies but the perfect example and to who you should be comparing you company to is UPS Freight.

So you can admit that conway has done something wrong? Iv'e never worked for the company. I have been in close contact with people that do. And i know every dirty trick and deed this company does and did.
But you see this movement is growing and yes i can admit not all terminals want to form a union, some are happy with the company. But a good number of them do want representation and have reached out to us. So we will help.

That pension is trashed. The ain't paying into it. Have deferred interest payments to 2019 so far. Those guys a hurting far worse than you realize.

That is why they all keep jumping ship. 30 year guys going to drive somewhere else tells me all I need to know.

That mess wasn't worth saving. The drivers realize that now.

For someone that claims to be a union organizer with 26 years at the wheel, this has got to be about the most scatter brained attempt at recruitment I have ever witnessed.

Yeah, I am sure the glaring failure. Steaming pile of poo. Largest LTL is the country falling apart and it's membership fleeing like rats off a sinking ship isn't the picture you want us to see.

UPSF is not a LTL giant. They only exist because UPS sells in package deals to cover a companies total shipping needs. We are a stand alone LTL. They don't compare.

OD is the gorilla in the room. They are doing LTL better than everyone. Much better. And they compensate their employees well. It's why so many Con-way drivers have gone there. It's why so many YRC drivers have gone there.

You might think we all need education, but ain't none of us dumb enough to buy your BS.
