How much do you think you should have in a pension after 4 years? Enough to retire? Do you think someone can work at a union outfit for 4 years and retire with $3500 a month?
You guys need to get realistic about your demands.

No not 4 yrs. But if a driver spends 30 years here that's what should be expected.I still can't get an answer from you pension hounds.

The pension has only existed for 4 years. Maybe you should call the pension administrators and find out what your pension will be worth at retirement. No not 4 yrs. But if a driver spends 30 years here that's what should be expected.
Is this a trap? Can I answer you or are you going to ban me or give me infractions if I do?
All though I'm not a genius like you are I am smart enough to know it should be worth more than 64 bucks a month.

When I hired in at WML there was no pension and the same I believe when all of the old farts hired in at AF too. ( yes I'm a old fart too) We all knew what we were getting into. Besides when you don't expect anything you won't be disappointed when you don't get anything.
Now the guys in who work at YRC that are at retirement age and YRC has not made much of a payment in the last how many years now that's F.U. that was a agreed to benefit.
I work at UPSF and at my barn every Road Driver is in the union but there are some P&D drivers that are not in the union and a just a couple of part time guys are in. Its business as usual at our barn for the most part everybody work together whether u in the union or not. The people not in the union pay no dues and union still have to represent them. They can't come to any of the union meetings. So that's something to think about and also they still get a pension the nonunion guys.
