You're wrong on each and every count. FEAR tactics 101. And WHO here make the $35.60/hr required to pay $89/mo. dues. Go crunch some numbers and see how many drivers get to work on Monday. Hurry before FedEx changes it's name...:LMAO:

That's the difference between me and you, I never chose to work for FedEx. They bought the company that I applied for. I've been a driving force in the backpeddling of those policies, I'm sure they didn't want to do that either...but guess what? They did and you're welcome. Some of you guys have absolutely no idea how hard the core group of guys have worked to do this. Not just for ourselves, but everyone. These posts need less "I" and "me" and more of "us" and "we". Selfish people.

Stand up and be a man...jesus...there s plenty of jobs out there...pull your balls out of you r ass and move on...I was told I ll be done when I left roadway/yrc...I make more money now then I ever did with that loser company! Don t be afraid to stand up for what you believe in.....I have 3 small kids...I do what I have to do! Life continues...Life will continue...uninterrupted withouthout Fed Ex ....guaranteed! This place is not the end all to your life or your families life! Grow a set of BALLS and move on! Peace out!!!!!!!

you are right watkins was bought out by fedex. but you still had a choice to work here. I hired on with fedex west not fedex corp. WE were also forced this stuff just like you. don't talk to me about core group you have been here less time then a lot of people. not trying to start a fiight but you come across like you have been here since time began. well to tell you the truth we who have been here since viking/freight west and AF/freight east. have seen and dealt with a lot more then those who came over after. we have gone from a great place to work being treated good with monthly bonus checks and bbq's summer outings to being treated like dung on the bottom of a shoe. the point i was making is we didn't need the union back then and I hope they change their ways so we don't need it now.
 
fred will not close down or change the name. for god sake people if he did he would never be able to use fedex logo in the freight business again. no more purple promise yea right wise up

It seems many believe Fred, has the final say in so much that happens at FEDEX,NOT SO! Check and see who the largest share holders are. The largest is an outfit from the left coast with 19 M shares, heck,your 401 money keeper is the third largest share holder in the company.Sure Fred, has a say and influence,however, at the end of the day, the board of directors can put Fred's a-- out in the street and impose their will. .just sayin'

Where did you get "close the doors"? There was never a hint of door closing,rather, they may look at the situation a bit differently and not be as hostile toward what is going on.We are making loads of $$$$, #1 in volume,#1 in$$$$,the #1 Freight co in the land . No need to do anything foolish. Hope swamp -thing appreciates that. Just so you know!

We made these positive changes by sticking to our guns. We are NOT backing down while they cower and hope not to be called on a bluff.
 
Score card is gone... So what! Bill,Rodney ,Brian ,and Michele are still here. The union goes away these tyrants go back to treating us like slaves again!

I'm still a yes vote especially with that list of names in the role of corporate management.

all I will say is people have stated on trucking boards they are afraid freight will be rerouted or fedex will close the door. and by the way nobody is getting hostile on here but the non believers in a better life.you get the point. you have every right to believe in what your told and we have the right to believe in what we want to believe in.if union talk bothers you so much on here all I can do to help you is don't read it or ignore it. hope yours and you have a wonderful life over and out

What is it you absorb, when reading a post.There was never a mention of hostile behavior,toward a post or person for a post.That statement was made to illustrate how the board vs dear leader could develop.The union talk part,it is not bothering me,as a matter of fact I'm crazy giddy, about what is taking place. It is a great show, and when the dust settles, I am hoping to be in Boca Vista, with the Seinfelds, awash in thoughts of what might have been. You see, I have no dog in this fight, as a working man, I may lean a bit in one direction. However, it would be imprudent [means-incautious] to assume I have either pro or anti-position,on these matters. At the end of the day,I don't give a RATS axx.Thanks for listening.Good luck.
