A message from a CIN driver/organizer.
The overwhelming support from across the entire country is simply amazing. Thank you all for your support. We are seeing this spread all around the country growing bigger and stronger. We may have been labeled the little terminal that thinks it can by the company and the truth is we can and are. We are able to fight the purple giant not only because we at CIN are standing together but because of the support from everyone else nation wide. We stand beside EPH and SBR as they stand beside us. All across the country the hard working men and women are also starting to stand up and fight. This isn't about CIN it's about all of us. The company has declared war on us and expected an easy victory. Much to their disappointed not only are we holding strong at the front lines we are fighting back and the company is already in retreat which is proven by their current "too little too late policy changes". These changes came from system wide support from dozens of terminals supporting this movement to organize together. The time is now to act. No more sitting on the fence and no more wait and see. We urge all of you that aren't currently signing cards to pick up the phone and call your Teamster locals. We are not in this fight alone and neither will anyone else who joins the fight.
WE ARE MANY
WE ARE STRONG
WE ARE UNITED

I'm just the messenger. We have a guy at NHS though that has union stickers plastered everywhere and the red shirts smile at him. Apparently, he had some heated union debates in the linehaul office with a couple supervisors...and pretty much embarrassed them. That story came from a pair of guys that witnessed in disbelief the whole thing. Lol, go union!

Most of the red shirts could care less about the union there pay and job will stay the same they are just doing what there told. We who have been here long know each other a long time no animosity in sbr.

What is it like now when you go to work? Are the redshirts angry with you? Is there animosity?

Some red shirts have taken it personal and some support us. The only friction honestly is from a few of the drivers who will lose out on their special treatment. They go around attacking anyone who is for the union and actually are getting us more support because of their arrogance and being so abrasive.
I have yet to see a yes vote harass or argue with anybody who is on the fence but I see the no voters arguing with someone everyday and launching personal attacks on people.
Win or lose we all still have to work together. I don't think the no voters realize that we respect their no vote and they don't have to be such pricks.

One of the no voters went as far as making an account on here to parody the name of a driver organizer and try to insinuate he was gay.

As is the case with life in general. Those who claim to be the most tolerant, and respectful of diverse views, often try to silence, or shout over those with educated and opposing views. Then, when they have no substance in their argument, they resort to attacking character. Especially when they get desperate.
