What local would be representing the Newark terminal?

Once a terminal files for a vote how long does it take before they actually vote?

Is there somewhere we can follow along and find out when these centers are going to vote and the results that follow?

once you file for a vote with the NLRB it takes about a month....this when the company will hold anti-union meeting and try and scare you guys.

The president of 641 is very nice to talk to. I believe he is Assistant Eastern Region Freight Director. The Easern Freight directors also in Jersey I believe.

Go Go Go Go Go Go Gooooooooo!"!!!!!"
You guys are THE GREATEST news going!!!!
Awesome!!!""

I can't wait to see the look on Bill Logue's face and all his cronies when they realize their arrogance and general indifference towards us has resulted in their fate being sealed at Fedex. Dust off those resumes boys, Freddie boy is going to be most displeased when he sees Freight go union under your watch. Stand strong, stand united!

forget the resumes boys because they need you guys. all you have to do is your job and that will speak louder than anything.

Amen cause upper management in this company is a joke!

For what its worth Fed Ex brothers - I was at Saia for several years. I've been at Holland for a year now. I would never go back to a non union LTL operation. I have a better schedule, made as much money my first year here as I did at top pay there. My health benefits are fantastic and cost me nothing . But, the best part is I have some say in how I'm treated. I have the opportunity every 6 months to bid on different work schedules if my life requires it. And, when I get too old or maybe a chronic illness that prevents me from holding my medical card, then I could still work the dock and keep my same pay and benefits. In my opinion, you can't go wrong being union in the trucking biz. And, like I've heard other guys say on previous posts - if we don't start rebuilding strength in the Teamsters union and the last few union LTL carriers go away , we will all pay hell. Its a truck drivers market right now, there has never been a better time to organize.
