Was just informed that 1 of our Red Shirts decided (Xdriver) to get into a tractor today. Hes out doing pick ups a switch. So how do you anti union people like this? Myself im not liking the fact he's taking $$$ away from us. Cant believe management would throw gas on a fire like this. What do you think Driver or Management cause we know your watching too
 
Poor Corporate, they will truly need an Army of Minions to cover all of P&D and Linehaul. Maybe even dock. How long do you think the peon Supers. and Managers would put up with it. Who will be left to man the phones and computers? Don't sweat it. The company knows there is no way out of the GODZILLA they have created. Any resistance is futile!!!!
 
Could be nothing. I've seen it at my old SC when they didn't have enough drivers. OTOH it could very well be a not so subtle message. Tons of sups. and managers were running routes during the last UPS strike. My advice... don't get rattled. Right now both sides are just sizing each other up. Remember... Power perceived is power achieved ! Don't blink !
 
We have guys out hurt our scm is in a truck at least three days a week just trying to keep us caught up! He takes what won't fit on everyone else! As long as everyone is working don't see a problem! If we don't take care of our customers some other freight company will!

I have more responsibility than you can possibly fathom! Deep down at parties you don't talk about it. YOU WANT ME ON THAT TRUCK YOU NEED ME ON THAT TRUCK! We use words like friends,coworkers, and loyalty. We use these words at a company we have spend years building! You use them as a punch line! I have neither the time nor the patience for a man that rises an sleeps from the profits of a company I helped build then questions the manner in which I provide it!

I would rather you just said thank you and went on your way otherwise I suggest you get a cdl an deliver the freight!

If I didn't have to go to work in a few hours I'd be a Netflixing fool !
 
Salaried individuals are not part of the random drug screen pool and therefore should not be driving a commercial vehicle. Also, where are they hiding the productivity?
 
That's the new fedex. They not only care for us workhorses, they will do whatever it takes now to take care of their customers. No more will you hear the phrase, there's always tomorrow. Ya rite. I think what they are doing is trying to put out the fire. And now is the time we stay strong, and unite.
 
We have had hotshot managers that did this before. Unfortunatley it was before "scorecard" rolled out. Huh.....maybe thats why it got revoked.
