get ur butt out and vote.... thats what it has to do with yrc... if working class people would stop voting against their own interests then maybe the senate and house would give a rip about union jobs....and nonunion jobs... distractions such as gays,guns,abortion and immigration is bait.... go on and vote for the banks/republicans if you wanna.... If you didnt get it in the 1st place I guess that means it was not yours(something like that a poster mention here in the forum awhile ago) ... farms too!
Back to the point of the thread.... elections MATTER!

When a widow is surviving on SSI survivor benes and taxes go from 1700 a year to 7000 something has to go. 90 year old Seniors on fixed incomes are defenseless when public officials simply give in to spending...

This thread belongs in the politics forum and has zero to do with YRC....

No one was a stronger Union guy Moderator than R14. But 2/3rds of the posts in this forum would've been moved to the politics forum within the first three posts when he was healthy. Appropriate places for appropriate topics....
 
go ahead and remove it .It wasnt posted to be a political comment or forum .it was posted because i thought it was a statement that many could relate to but i forgot where i was .screw it .get rid of all union as they say .I GOT MINE

HUGE difference between PRIVATE unions and PUBLIC unions. Private costs can be passed on. Public costs raise taxes, endangering the poor.


To you and jk who think the Dems are for the workers: FDR was against Public Unions, because it hurts those on fixed incomes. He was a Democrat. The Dems held Congress for most of 40 years straight and they never authorized Public Unions because it hurts the lower earners
Public unions were only authorized by an Executive Order by JFK. They could he outlawed in the the manner......

Look at towns like Stockton and Fresno. Big public workers contracts, big pension promises. Taxes went up, people moved or lost their homes. Town short tax revenue, declared bankruptcy. Who was helped????
 
The big irony here is: many on here find it fine that someone else's taxes Double Twice in a three year period, but find it sinful that their own pay drop by 15%.... :duh:
