XPO | Conference call 9/28/14

I have to disagree, the next day market is big. From what I see..just my opinion.
I, personally, have seen my next day market slow and be routed to more economical carries with slower service. Just what I have seen, not necessarily company wide.

Join the union and stop letting all these spoiled rich brats take half a milliin a year to screw with us all. If we all are in the same game we could eventually drop the 2 tier or more pay and work wherever theres union work like they used to.
No worrying about starting on the bottom with unlivable wages. Join so WE set the rates....not these brats.
Drivers need to stick together.

with all due respect, drivers won't stick together. They would step over the body of a driver to get his load. I've seen the high fives when a driver gets fired.... Yay me! Moving on up! Your living in a dreamland if you think there is any consensus in this industry, or that any union can unite it.

I fully agree.........and that's the way corporate wants it.

We were told this morning...

1. Turning the trucks up to 65mph on their next p.m.

2. You can take up to 60hrs for a vacation, so that your check for that week doesn't suck so much.

3. Raise that takes affect 1/4/2015

4. No changes to insurance this coming year.

That's all I know.

...Thank you

You had better make sure that your co-workers are willing to strike and lose money before you even cast a vote..it's going to come down to a strike to get anything done..

How 'bout just wait til Monday, and see what they come up with..I hope it's fair to everyone..

And ya'll need to quit being late to LPR..
So now your lies and spins say it's before the vote!! I thought you had originally said they would have to strike to get anywhere with negotiations?
No one is going to strike, no one is going to lose money.. If losing money was the case the company would just recognize the Teamsters as the employee's representatives without having to spend thousands of dollars on union busters..
Why is the company spending all that money? Cruz and Associates are making $350.00 an hour to convince employees to vote no on the union and thats per union buster on the ground. Go figure!
