Years ago the billing clerks at yellow were Union....
Yellow was a proud union company till upper management like Bill Zollars all but took it down along with some other great union companies . So see, crap management can and will destroy a company . Fact the teamsters were the ones that help to keep them going by working with the banks and other investors when the company couldn't .
 
Ours are printed out, all together, and left out on the breakroom table, daily, for everyone to see. And we are required to initial by our name.

THAT would not be in the rule book, if there was still such a thing. What's the penalty for failure to sign? Coaching? Falls off in 90 or 180 days? That's just petty. Professionals jumping through hoops at the managers' discretion...
 
Is this center a small one? I've noticed at smaller barns there is a lot of Ball Busting. Ball Busting can be ok till the Guy's Balls being busted isn't laughing any more. If this IS, a former employee. this is totally inappropriate. vote NO!

Small center? yes. Former employee? no, current. And why would this be inappropiate even if I was a former employee? VOTE YES.
 
It's no different from what I experienced working for Roadway Express starting in the early eighties. The company is only interested in operating as efficiently as possible.

Efficiency isn't the problem. Hell, we all want to get it done and go home. It's the political b.s. everyone is fed up with.
 
This is posted on the door of the service center manager . Apparently the employee is a former supervisor who left for another job because of the way the upper management treated people there.

this is your purple promise, people first mentality!!!

I hope something gets done about this!!!!



Isn't it amazing that they make us watch these work place violence videos, and tell us that even if your just joking if that person finds it offensive or if someone else sees or hears it and finds it offensive we can fire you! I GUESS THAT DOESN'T APPLY TO MANAGEMENT!!

Like I've said numerous times, us peons are held to a higher standard. But I guess some people are so PURPLE that they don't see it. I guess like everything else, policies must be "at company discretion". Their own policies DO NOT apply to them.
