Yellow was a proud union company till upper management like Bill Zollars all but took it down along with some other great union companies . So see, crap management can and will destroy a company . Fact the teamsters were the ones that help to keep them going by working with the banks and other investors when the company couldn't .Years ago the billing clerks at yellow were Union....
IND at one time posted the names of city drivers with the worst stops per hour.
Ours are printed out, all together, and left out on the breakroom table, daily, for everyone to see. And we are required to initial by our name.
Is this center a small one? I've noticed at smaller barns there is a lot of Ball Busting. Ball Busting can be ok till the Guy's Balls being busted isn't laughing any more. If this IS, a former employee. this is totally inappropriate. vote NO!
It's no different from what I experienced working for Roadway Express starting in the early eighties. The company is only interested in operating as efficiently as possible.
Isn't it amazing that they make us watch these work place violence videos, and tell us that even if your just joking if that person finds it offensive or if someone else sees or hears it and finds it offensive we can fire you! I GUESS THAT DOESN'T APPLY TO MANAGEMENT!!
