Yellow | 857 turning 309

Until you break down & they won't pay because your off route...
Didnt know you had to run a certain route. I havent run linehaul in 15 years and that was for Crouse Cartage. They handed you your load and you and your atlas decided what roads to take. Just get it there

332x2=-664. At 60 mph average it takes over 11 hrs to do it. To be able to average 60 they would have to use the magic slingshot out the gate. We won't mention traffic, construction, accidents, weather, or any other reason you can't keep the 60 mph average. If you've got the magic pencil, I guess anyone can make it. Just remember that for explaining it to the jury when the accident happens.

I was told the rt is70 465 865 65 90 394 30 miles 332 hope to try it soon will be posting time when I do

That would be the route to take. I would be tight on a turn. Let us know!
At Roadway, Colunbus was running Springfield Mo. This was with the terminal in
Columbus on Frank Rd, and a 55 mph speed limit in OH and IL.
The old timers jumped to get that run! Even the late Don Payne ran it and said
it couldn't be done. But they ran it!!

You can average any mph as long as YRCF is still using paper logs and a fine tuned Bic pen!!!!

I can remember years ago at 241 a driver asking driver supervisor "when are they going to turn these trucks up?". Answer by manager "why? I can show at least a dozen driver's logs say these trucks run 70 mph now." My input at that time. "Can you show me those logs?" Manager reply: "sure - why do you want to see them?" My reply: "So I can call the DOT & report them for improper logging & the company for knowingly allowing it."
For some reason he wouldn't show them to me.
One thing about it people, now matter what kind of unmakable run anyone is doing now - after electronic logging starts, you won't be doing it after that. No more magic pencils!

If the markers are moved to where the terminals are ACTUALLY located, the one way mileage is 318 via US30-I65-I465-I70.
I haven't seen anyone suggest that 309-857 can be made on any other route.
How are you going to average 60mph on 30. Or do the 12 miles of city driving and stop lights disappear on your run?

First of all I don't run Columbus. And evidently you don't understand that you don't have to average 60MPH on US 30. You have to average 58MPH from the Chicago Heights terminal to the Columbus terminal. A one way trip is 318 miles via US30-I65-I465-I70. 318 miles divided by 5.5 driving hours results in a 58MPH (57.8 actually) average speed.
The larger issue is whether or not the return load will be ready when you arrive at the turn around point. Regardless of whether it's 857 or 309. And OBVIOUSLY no vias can be added!

That is not the co. Stated route. They refused to pay the extra miles to run the route you list hence the problem.Pretty easy, change the route, pay a man for what he actually does & move the freight.

You have stated that you quit and moved on, so HOW do you know what route will be utilized?

I turn around sometime in back of the Home Depot and take a nap!!!!

An ABQ Roadway driver while driving through an alley in Gallup, stopped and picked up a large piece of cardboard instead of driving over it. He found someone sleeping underneath it.
