FedEx Freight | Now's the time. The time is now.

I like this quote:
"The Bureau of Labor Statistics reports that last year median weekly earnings for union members were $200 higher than for non-union workers. That's not pocket change, and it doesn't even account for the superior benefits enjoyed by union members," he pointed out."

People constantly undervalue health, dental, STD, etc, etc. To me, it has almost an equal bearing on my decision making as does hourly pay. ALMOST haha. It amazes me how often Id ask a fellow driver what the benefits package was like at their conpany, and they would know little to nothing about health benefits. It's such a huge deal to me, but I guess others have different t priorities.

A short tale about 12 Cookies......A CEO hosts a mandatory company meeting. He brings along a plate of 12 cookies for refreshments. During the meeting the CEO takes 11 of the cookies and then retorts to gathered workers..."you'd better keep an eye on the union, they're after your cookie".

Bringing politics into this discussion, is not going to help either side... Divide and conquer, that's the company plan, don't let it be ours.

That divide and conquer with the employees happens everywhere.Corporate Pigs use that program all the time.We are not immune with our union members workplace.

Trade Deficit | U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis

Political parties aside, you can see what Corporate America has achieved since the workers have all decided to stay out of unions.
If your new CEO is the Express guy, he now sits negotiating with Asia with little government or participation by the people. You give them full power to take as much as they can from us and make us work as hards as they want us to for nothing.
From workplaces, to towns, states, the country and every level of govt and families....they have total power and destroy that....because you refuse to join unions and participate.

The deficit depratiates the dollar as world reserve currency.
Should it fail, and it probably will, because you allow them their way, one day we could be in the same position of other debtor nations. Working for nothing like they do in Mexico.
Thanx for letting them do what they want to CIN, Newark, Harrisburg, our trade and our country. One day we'll probably regret it. Or worse, our kids and grandkids will.
