Can't get enough Fedex drivers from our non-union centers to move our freight? No BIG deal they can just use temp agencies...

"Our company database includes hundreds of thousands of screened, qualified candidates nationwide, allowing us to quickly respond with a trusted, experienced P&D Driver willing to work temporary or permanent assignments, based on your needs."

Another member of management nosing around on our board. Where were they before the union talk. They could have came on here then and showed support. Don't they have freight to tend to.

Wow now that's a driver pool. Who said there's a driver shortage?

Maybe FedEx prefers to brainwash a dockworker in becoming a driver with the DDI that is already on staff. If it were so easy or beneficial to using this service it would have been exploited by the company already for the vacant positions we can not fill now.

I thought FedEx valued a professional image. How would it look to the world if FedEx was on the news every night because they refused to negotiate with their employees for fair wages and benefits. How would it look to customers when their normal P&D driver was replaced with a **** who could only get the job because the professional driver they are used to was being mistreated by FedEx.

False, fictional, fear tactics, posted in multiple threads, equals Mgmt plant or U-Buster, IMHO.

FedEx Fool being a member of management is breaking federal labor laws now and his or her ID can be subpoena'd from Truckingboards.

That's is correct.Have many people on board that can trace an IP NETWORK.If your management, you are breaking the NLRB contract rules. When you log in your network can be traced from any location in the world. You guys in management are making most of us vote yes..

How can you live with yourself?Threatening guys who built the compsny and serve your customers?
Is that how you treat an Smerican citizen who has done nothing wrong but wants to excercize rights that our nation allows. It should be a felony.

At least you have a accurate user name.

I'm new to FXFC but it's amazing how many resources are being put on this union deal. From reading the different forums it seems that this is a great place to work but they maybe getting too big and have forgotten about whose the face of FedEx. In the short time I've been here it's been a lot of senior driver's whom told me about (the scorecard) and other policies that were just outrageous. Before I was against the union but now I'm thinking that it would not hurt to have someone in our corner incase more of these senseless rules are put in place. We all come here to work and support our families so I understand now why this is such a important time here at Fxf.

Yeah and I'm sure that they would come to work in a nice clean uniform, and be the utmost professionals in front of our customers!

2 examples to support my theory that that would do more damage than good to FedEx.

First- when ups went on strike in late 90's We had freight falling off the dock! The brought in temps to help. Showed up drunk! Some were caught stealing! Others destroyed freight!

Second- when national had shortage of drivers when they were doing change of operation from teams to meet and turns. For months they used contractors to pull their pups. 2-4 hrs late all the time, and half didn't speak English at all! Some couldn't even find meet points!

Save your scare tactics for someone who hasn't been around the block a time or two! I bet your some 20 year old kid fresh out of college that has never driven a truck and probably couldn't start one if I put the key in the ignition for you!

First off there is nothing to strike over yet. Second I doubt there would be a strike anyway. no one benifits from a strike. This is just some bs trying to ruffle someones feather's and not having any idea what's going on. just my thoughts'
