Speaking of coming to work drunk, I shook the executive VP's (P.R.) hand last week and had a brief conversation with him on our dock. He reeked like alcohol. I was not the only driver to notice it. Over a dozen drivers had asked me if I smelled alcohol on his breath. The man is second in charge of this company, never been to NHS (2nd highest freight moving facility in the FXF network), and when he finally does show up, it takes the threat of a union and a few stiff drinks to finally show his face. That's outrageous and left one hell of a first impression on myself and many others. He must've sobered up the past few days, I haven't been in the terminal this week but no one called me about any 'spirited' execs this week. Isn't this suppose to be our 'Leadership'? If any one of us came to work in that condition, we'd be sent straight to the outpatient clinic to pee in a cup and breathe into a tube. Great way to lead by example, Mr. R.
