Getting BACK ON TOPIC...

For those about to VOTE,we do SALUTE YOU! You know what caused this movement, and you know what the main reasons are. Many are posted here: http://www.truckingboards.com/forum...our-main-reason-vote-union-fedex-freight.html

Now, in the past few week, some things may have changed. The scorecard was tossed and the MOST PUNITIVE corrective action policy was reduced. That's a good thing, but we know it can rear it's ugly head, with little or no notice. Other than those small tokens what has the company offered to address in REAL terms? Anything that really matters? Have they promised to even look into better insurance? Have the spoken to the issue of better pension contribution? Have they promised to correct inconsistencies in the area of rules and practices? Any offer to get, even a little bit, closer to the competition, in terms of compensation? What about that quarterly bonus that was quietly discontinued?

We've heard about cookouts and donuts, but have they really offered anything of significance? Apparently they still don't get it, or they still don't hear you. You have to SPEAK UP, with the only VOICE you have, and in the only terms they understand. Right now, your's is the only VOICE they're listening to... Make sure they understand it.

SPEAK UP WITH A YES VOTE!

The last time I voted yes was to keep that handsome man on Big Brother but he ended up losing anyways. I'll never vote yes again!

Once a shop votes yes, that shops wages and benefits are frozen until a contract is negotiated . There is no time limit on negotiating a contract. all FedEx has to do is negotiate in good faith. vote NO,

If they could FREEZE my insurance premiums for a couple years, maybe that would not be a bad deal.

sounds like somebody is desperately trying to shut you up Swamp Ratt ! Maybe scared that youre disseminating too many hard facts for drivers to make an apples - apples comparison ?

I suspect next week we'll have a new group of irritants... I think they rotate shifts, like clockwork. Thanks for the support! :smilie93C_peelout:

Does anyone like the "idea" of retirement? Pay close attention, because for many,it's only going to be, just that, an idea, a fantasy, or perhaps a nightmare.

Let's see what the pension site shows for a projection... at 65, in 12 years, after 35 years of continuous employment. Good thing I've got "other options", not shown, or I'd have to die in the truck.

THESE are ANNUAL NUMBERS. Divide by 12 to get monthly numbers. $4997/yr (current dollars) $6720/yr (future dollars)

Seems that every center that falls with a yes vote they change. I would suspect that as a center get's closer to a vote the management from that terminal makes a push here. Then they fall silent and become lurkers. As the yes tide rises the pressure increases.

Here's the important part, no image needed:

My Grammy always said never to put all your eggs in one basket!

well listen to her. if you vote no all your eggs will be in 1 basket. vote yes and your eggs are in more then 1. you have a choice and a voice on which baskets you want to distribute your eggs. thanks for putting your foot in your mouth it just shows how much you really know.:438::17142:
