Our Buffalo and Rochester drivers have been down almost all week because of the snow down there. I'm told they're going down through Thousand Islands Friday night, I assume to Rochester. Anyone know if there's enough pups there to get our guys home? Word has it they figure we're gonna lose most of those pups out of our pool because there won't be enough. Any info would be helpful.

The thousand island crossing is more in line with Syracuse then it would be Rochester. Not sure if that's what you meant just thought I'd throw it out there the UPSF guys were still crossing in Lewiston and then taking SR 104 I believe it is to get around the snow but our BUFFALO terminal I believe is still shut down

union wouldn't get rid of snow . only make it so if you thought it was to unsafe you wouldn't have to go.[/Q

We already have a policy for that. It's driver discretion. If you choose not to run because of a bad conditions it doesn't count against you.

Wow. Hard to believe someone didn't see my sarcasm and thought that I really believed the union could stop snow from falling.

They took Thousand Islands to Rochester, and we've been losing pups out of our pool all week because they can't keep up. We have barely enough pups to sustain our operations right now and we're due to lose more. I have no idea what they intend to do about it. It hasn't affected Toledo yet, but it may very soon. And Toledo has no pups to spare, either.

Lmao you mean that policy they just changed because the union.
You're being ridiculous again. This was an existing policy before the union drive began. If you were forced to drive in weather you were uncomfortable driving in by someone within FedEx, you should've reported it.

You talk an awful lot about how anti-union folks never give facts, while doing nothing yourself except criticize. You've yet to provide any facts about anything, and the fact that you genuinely seem to believe that without the union FedEx was actively violating your rights suggests you know nothing about labor laws.

It's your right to petition. It's your right to vote. It's also your right to say no to unsafe working conditions.
