Wouldn't anybody else want enough tax breaks to payoff a $9 million building like Boeing was gonna get or got?
 
CLT is not alone they have all our support from WV along with all of our other brothers and sisters, who are trying to organize and make this job better for all of us.

They want to see CLT out on an island, just like Richmond got cold feet, Louisville I suspect will fall or pull, snw is gone, so what we got? Two tiny terminals in the north east and Charlotte. Thanks to you people, everything we have is frozen. Raises, health care, no bonuses all frozen. The only way it won't be is if and only if the teamsters allow FedEx to give us a raise or a bonus, but does anyone really believe that's going to happen? Oh and the health care, that seems to be a hot topic. In 2018 you will see everyone go to the affordable Care act, even the teamsters who's exemption is up that year. You people really think the Republicans are going to give special privileges to the unions, think again. You people better be good little teamsters and vote for democrats, that is the only way y'all have a chance of getting a hand out. Which that is what this all boils down to, y'all can't be happy with what you got, you see somebody with more and whine and cry it. You are the same people that wouldn't have a problem taking a hand out from the government. Bunch of freeloaders, never happy with what you got. Some of the road drivers make close to six figures a year, that a lot more than any red shirt you see. With the overtime and the options of running Saturday that a lot of city drivers have, we also have the opportunity to make a great living for our family. So, if you people wanted the union so bad it would have been better for you to go apply at yrc, Holland, abf, or even upsf. Now we not only have our sometimes incompetent management to deal with, we also have the ignorance of the teamsters to deal with also. I'm not asking y'all to go away mad, just go away. We're a better company without the IBT.

To a majority chunk of the places that petitioned, it must NOT have been a better company without the IBT. And to a majority in Charlotte, Croydon and South Brunswick it is NOT a better company without the IBT.
A better company for SOME. You being one, Easy Jr.

Some IBT guys might think alot of guys working nonunion with standards that union contracts brought are freeloading everydamned day you work and don't join.

That money would have to come from Fedex for them to receive credit

Funny. I heard the exact opposite. Heard there is overwhelming support in Lou. Not saying you're wrong and I'm right, just think it's funny the different story you get depending on who you talk to

The company is desperate so they have people like him spreading blatant lies.
 
Insiders are concerned that the Hoffa administration will utilize the same tactics that it used in 2008, when Teamsters organizers tried to unionize after they were removed from the International Brotherhood’s pension plan. The Hoffa administration sent out letters requiring field organizers to sign an admission that they counted merely as “temporary” and “at will” employees — and thus were officially expendable.

The Hoffa administration engaged in “Making phone calls, sending emails and threatening the consequences if they were not signed (using direct and indirect methods),” according to a statement made by a Teamsters organizer posted to a private Teamster chat forum. The veracity of this statement was confirmed by an insider to TheDC.

“It is not any secret after the first wave were ‘terminated’ in November 2008, those that remained were harassed further by the administration and they either conformed or they were fired. Leaving only a hand full [sic] of people that could be used for their gain,” according to a statement by an organizer.

Do some research drivers, don't be force fed what the pro guys are saying.

But what you failed to realize is the FACT that some people voted yes with no intention of joining but rather to recieve the so called bennies for free! The anti's were actually fighting against two groups and almost pulled it off. It's quite possible that if a contract gets ratified, which I seriously doubt, you could have less than 50 "members" out of 223 drivers!

Just curious, your ID says "slavenomore", what exactly were you a slave to? I thought the slaves were freed years ago?

well there are different pensions for every region so everyone should inquire with their local but this is what is being said out in my region. I will be happy to post the actual language as soon as i get my hands on it.
